My daughter took me there for my Birthday last night...we hadnt booked but got a table. What a lovely place, very welcoming...delicious food, good portion sizes...very good friendly services.
Will definately go back and highly recommend.

Carlos and his team are truly fantastic the meal was excellent and 5* from start to finish we will definately go again. Nothing was to much trouble my Veal was the best I have had for many years and my guests all requested that I write this review and wish this restaurant all the best for the future and hope it stays in Melksham for many years to come.

Gorgeous meal in Alba tonight. The food was incredible and I felt like I was in Italy! The manager is so lovely. Would definitely recommend.
We had been meaning to try alba's ristorante when we went it in on Saturday the meal was absolutely wonderful the starter was lovely but for me my fillet steak was to die for gorganzola sauce was absolutely delicious and the owners were absolutely lovely family business so for the people of melksham come on support a family who care about food so support a small family buissness
Ordered a few times from here, absolutely love the food. My all time favourite especially the tiramisu � would absolute recommend

We found ourselves in Melksham for the night and needed food. We fancied Italian and discovered several venues. We chose ALBA and a good job we did! Very attentive waitress, Carlos very obliging and tailored our meals somewhat. The food was HOT when we received it (pretty quick service) and it tasted good! And there was plenty on the plate. We appreciated the modest prices and enjoyed a very pleasant evening without any rush. Thankyou, Carlos and team, for a very pleasant experience. We live near Brighton so we won't be visiting Alba very often but it is likely to be our oasis when we venture along the M4! Very much looking forward to our next visit - likely to be in April! See you then.

We have had a fair few pizzas delivered from here, always quick, excellent pizzas, and really friendly owner, brought his mum from Sicily in the car once. Tonight we had three pizzas delivered for a 90th birthday celebration. Half an hour after the quick delivery he returned with a free tiramisu for the birthday girl, how thoughtful. First class service, thank you.
This family run Italian business was perfect. They were really nice, friendly and welcoming .We had a great time there and enjoyed our food😊. (Bruschetta and Pasta)

Really good pizza, great selection of toppings. If your looking for something more authentic than your 'average' high street takeaway place then this is it. Staff are really nice and helpful too!
From the delivery man being so polite to an amazing warm Italian pizza. We were over the moon with how good the pizza was there was no grease and the pizza were perfect with every bite tasting better than the last. We will definitely order again.
Had a lovely delivery this evening, I ordered lasagne & garlic bread for two, the food is delicious and still hot when it’s been delivered, packed perfectly, and the tiramisù is lovely aswell!!! Definitely recommend
The steak was absolutely brilliant . A lovely cut which was very tender and cooked And seasoned perfectly. I went for the red wine and green peppercorn sauce which was delicious. The chef and staff were very friendly and it was a laid back affair . No rush just an enjoyable evening . My only criticism was the prawn starter which came as a shelled prawn but I guess he was thinking of a customer who isn’t sure how to tackle a full prawn with legs head and shell . I’ll certainly return the whole experience and that mainly being the food , was fabulous
We stopped in on the way home as someone had recommended this restaurant. Best Italian meal I've had for ages. Lovely personal service (they made a big fuss of our little boy for his birthday and brought him ice cream with an umbrella and a candle in it!) Creamy pasta and delicious pizzas. A must try restaurant - so lovely to find a great local place - certainly 5 stars got the food.
We always order pizzas from Alba. Authentic Italian, where you don’t feel horrible after eating. Lovely food and lovely people, they always look after you in there!
Takeaway pizza tonight for the whole family, real Italian wood fired oven baked pizza . Way better than the normal takeaway pizzas and great value for money ! I would highly recommend the pescatore if you are a fish lover , sadly forgot to take a picture ... Next time ! Thank you Alba team for wonderful food and great service
