A great place to go. Good food and affordable. Very dog friendly. Good Atmosphere. Lots going on. Very welcoming. Great service. Landlady & Landlord and their staff are lovely. Well worth a visit. :-)))
Busy but service was polite and quick. Staff were attentive Tables were cleared quickly after guests had left and the loos were clean. Spot on friendly pub. 👌

Staff are absolutely amazing very catering and positive, went for a Sunday roast and it was amazing food lovely little pub even just for a drink, clean and overall just a lovely environment and atmosphere

Nice atmosphere, if you want to go round for a few drinks and watch sport because that is basically all they have and only serve meals on a Sunday so don't go round if your expecting any food.
Amazing venue for a party, I had my anniversary celebrations there the food was delicious, the staff were lovely nothing was to much trouble in fact they bent over backwards to make it run smoothly. I can definitely recommend the pilot.
A great pub to meet family and friends for a drink..they do a cracking roast dinner through the winter months on a sunday and bbq's during the summer..the staff are brilliant..always make you feel welcome.
What a fab place. Staff were so friendly and a great bunch of welcoming locals. Highly recommend. Even though I didn't eat on this occasion, I will definitely be back to try as the food looked great.

Although not my usual style of pub, I prefer old style traditional locals, the Pilot is a pub I go to when I am in the area. Unusual for an estate pub it always has a good choice of traditional still ciders, not just the fizzy chemical stuff you normally see. Also a decent choice of cask beers as well, mostly local

I have been a CAMRA member since the mid 1970's and to be honest, the Pilot is better than a lot of pubs in the Good Beer Guide

Superb fish and chips. Excellent IPA and really friendly service. What more can you want.
Pretty good burger meal, nice fries, nice burger not to tall like the fashion of some. Just add mayo to the coleslaw to improve it and wash down with some good ale.
