A big garden centre Emporium with a large carpark. There are food stalls with quality meats, fruits and vegetables, drinks etc. There is a home decor area with lots of products from decorative bottles, drinks coasters to side tables and lamps. There is a very big restaurant at Beckworth Emporium. When it is busy they use a pager system to alert you when a table is ready for you so you can still wander around and browse instead of waiting in a queue. The food in the restaurant is great. Good quality and well presented. The staff were very good. However when it's full the restaurant can be very noisy due to the way the building amplifies the chat. The outside garden centre area is kept stock with plenty of lovely, well tended plants. Definitely worth a visit.

Must be one of the best garden centres for many a mile, always a pleasure and doesn’t disappoint. It has a large food hall with loads of wonderful bits and pieces , a showpiece very large glasshouse restaurant which serves a superb range of things to eat and drink from an extensive menu- difficult to choose but it’s all very yummy. Has a large outdoor garden section, inside is a sizeable range of home bits, gifts and toiletries etc , one thing that is more minimalist is indoor plants- this is something they are not hot on . Considering it’s out of the way , it seems very popular, has a following which is easy to see why. Along with a large free car park makes for a lovely trip out.

Today, my friend and I had a spontaneous trip to have lunch together! Wow, in the restaurant, we were greeted with a big smile and seated promptly. Louise was looking after us, and she was an absolute pleasure. Her smile and service were spot on! The gingerbread latte is divine. Our lunches were well presented and very delicious. We later went on to shop, and we were greeted by Penny on the tills! Another happy member of staff that made the end of our journey a delight! Really enjoyed our visit today! See you again soon.

I do love it here and make a trip at least a couple of times a month specifically to see the new seasonal home decor items and to have a spot of breakfast or lunch. The food is absolutely delicious and fantastic size portions. Value for money is great and I cannot leave without buying something new for my home. I absolutely love the food hall and the take home “cook” products.

Afternoon tea. Although there were lots of free tables we had to wait for half hour at 2pm Friday afternoon. Given a loud buzzer then wait to hand it in. Taken to a table, no rappor at all. Table was by the payment area. Behind my husband 2 really loud women discussing the till with one or 2 employees. Served by very nice trainee lad. Small latte coffee followed about 5 mins later by a tray of 8 quarter sandwiches, all packet white bread except egg which were on packet brown. 2 scores warm, cream jam half strawberry and 2 blueberries. 2 trifles in shot glasses, 2 shortbread biscuits with toppings, 2 carrot cakes. Cost £34. All tasted really fresh and lovely. If you could book it would be a superb place. Many people complaining they only wanted tea and cake but had long wait. Wasn't keen on the Black sort of uniforms staff had, looked grubby and down market for a bit of a pretentious expensive place. Food was very expensive. Plants looked very good, all well maintained. Toilets were excellent, clean and stylish. Parking was easy, although we have been vefore and parking was difficult. Excellent for disabilities within the structure. Car park is concrete and shingle which with a broken ankle I found difficult. Would I go again? Maybe, but they really need a reservation service.

Great place to take a friend or the family. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful service. The food is really nice. I go as much as possible. The cake counter is amazing and the choices of plants are good.

Loved it! There are so many quality plants, gifts and food to choose from, many of which you would find difficult to get elsewhere, especially not in one place. Will definitely be going back again soon!

An amazing garden centre! Plants here are always amazing and well presented, the house plants are usually my go to and the variety always changes, while being reasonably priced, which is nice. I try and make a trip here every couple of months to see what’s new and I’m always pleasantly surprised, there always seems to be something new in whether that’s the food, alcohol or homeware. They always decorate fantastically when the seasons change and there Christmas displays are always one of the best! Always feels like a luxury going here and grabbing some bits. Have only been into the cafe once but it was delightful and is always super busy when I do go. Would recommend to anyone, even if it’s just to have a mooch around!!

Great selection at the shops, both for food, and gardening kit. Loved that they had a great variety of things to buy from posh chocolates to potted plants We had a small meal with dessert at the restaurant the meal was alright, definitely good portions and the prices weren’t too bad but not as flavourful as I would’ve liked. Note we did stop by very late on a Monday.

Always a good day out. Did a little early Christmas shopping before enjoying an afternoon tea treat with a friend. Staff are polite and helpful. I would have given a 5* review if I hadn't noticed that the teapot lid and the jam pot were both badly chipped.

Lovely afternoon tea, staff really helpful. Bit of a wait but that was fine. Only one thing out of 8 little cakes between two, three were battenburgs and three were vanilla sponges , could have had a bit more variety. Otherwise lovely.

Large parking area. Sadly dogs are not allowed inside the building, so would suggest not bringing them as there's nowhere to park in the shade. You walk into the food hall area. Plenty of foods, frozen area and also a large selection of cakes. Plenty of homeware. Lots of candles, smellies and home decor. Good outdoor plant selection.. The restaurant has been refurbished and seems to be to a high standard. Quite big too. Food service was fast and there are plenty of staff.. Most meals average around £10, and afternoon tea for 2 is £32 for 2 people. Toilets available. Worth a visit.

It is always busy but you soon get a table and your food arrives very quickly. Staff are very polite and friendly. It is a great day out. A great place to go for gifts for all age groups. Highly recommended.

Quality personified. What isn’t there to love about Beckworth Emporium. A great restaurant that caters for all parts of the day, quality products throughout the store and fresh food counters galore for daily shopping. Special mention to the Delhi and cake counters, just awesome. If you’re in the area, fill your boots 😊

Lovely place, seems to have gorgeous restaurant, but it was so busy that we couldn't have food. Some of the items there are stunning. But I wanted fiddle leaf fig and they didn't have much choice of them, there was only one plant by the toilets.
