Visited as a couple in June 2022. Fabulous food and service. Seasonal and local produce excellently cooked and served. Some unusual and very nice sustainable wines. Very good experience. Loved it.

Food was superb, place was beautiful & staff were so lovely, I had requested my menu be 'pregnancy friendly' & they were so attentive. Was a real treat that finished off our holiday perfectly. Just disappointed I didn't get to try out their pantrys menu during the day, but I have a feeling we'll be back again next summer to sample more!

Tucked out of the way on an estate this little gem is really worth a visit. Great for lunch with a mix of small plates or bagels. Great cakes as well (the triple chic brownie). Super cosy inside for cold days and a lovely patio outside for sunny days. Didn't visit the main restaurant, only open from Thursday at the moment and you'll need to book but based on the lunchtime food I would think it's 100% worth a visit.

Booked on-line do not aware it was now a fixed price menu, what a fantastic experience. Love the focus on sustainable foods, chef canoe out to tell us all what was on the menu, added to the whole experience. Congratulations to the team. Highly recommended.

Fantastic dining experience at New Yard, and the way they run the restaurant is admirable with locally and sustainability sourced produce and having a single service to reduce waste and allow staff reasonable working hours. The food was delicious and wonderfully presented. Having a welcome cocktail outside in the sun before dinner was a lovely way to start a meal.

Delicious tasting menu in a beautiful intimate setting. This was one of our favourite meals in the Falmouth area. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. Will definitely be back when we are down there next.

We had a wonderful Sunday Roast here after attending a foraging event the day before. The food was absolutely delicious and all the staff were friendly and enthusiastic about food being served here. Well worth visiting if you’re in the area!

Good unique experience. Love that it’s zero waste and menus are designed based on what’s fresh in supply, rather than what is demanded. Would come back!

The Trelowarren Estate is a beautiful area in South Cornwall. The Pantry provides delicious coffees, cakes, light lunches, brunch to eat in the courtyard or takeaway if you fancy wandering over to Halliggye Fogou or along the drive. The Restaurant has a fine dining menu, championing local and seasonal produce. Often ingredients are grown or foraged on the estate (watch this space for the opening of the one acre walled garden!). It is great for all ages - even busy toddlers as there is plenty of woodland and grassy areas to explore if they won’t sit at a table...

The best restaurant experience I have had to date (Jul-21). A restaurant with a morale compass. Finally. Food as food should be - real, local, flavoursome. Service as service should be - personable, perfected, attentive. Drink as drink should be - paired, quality and at a considered price point. - all guests arrived at once which made for a supper invitational atmosphere. Welcome drink on arrival and introduction from the waitress set the mood and immediately put us in good spirits - tasting menu only (£70) made for a very special evening. Not suited to your casual eat out of course. - talk from the head chef on the dishes to be served and origin of ingredients made this into an experience and showed the nature of the restaurant we sat in - as all food was served to all guests at the same time it made for very slick service and reduced stress of staff which only improved the quality of food and service - wine: excellently paired and at a reasonable price which so often is not the case. - atmosphere: classy whilst relaxed. Lovely background music that didn’t interfere. Decor was modern and stylish.

Amazing experiences at both the taster menu evening and cafe! Food always delicious, with fab service and really really love the sustainability ethos focused on local, seasonal produce - such a special place, wish all restaurants were this fantastic. Thank you to the NYR team for the work you do!

The staff were absolutely AMAZING with our 2yr old. The tasting menu works beautifully and results in a zero waste operation. It’s a really wonderful spot and our brief chat with the Head Chef / Owner suggests they have exciting plans for the future. We’ll 100% be back :)

Such a unique and enjoyable dining experience. Incomparable to any other restaurant. The food is exquisite, beautifully prepared and presented with such attention to detail and I loved the personal and simple introduction to the menu given by Jeffrey Robinson himself, it brought together the whole ethos of the restaurant. Fabulous, I can't wait to return!

Had our first visit to The New Yard this evening and we were very impressed. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the restaurant itself is lovely and spacious. We booked our table on the recommendation of friends and would definitely recommend The New Yard to others. My partner hasn't stopped raving about the belly pork all evening! We will be back soon.
