The village was busy, so we managed to get a table. The tables are small with only two tables that can accommodate 4/5 people. All the other tables are for 2/3 people. The service was pleasant and polite. The food was okay, a little bland I thought. The crisps had no flavour. The orders were slightly mixed up. The scone came without cheese & chutney and one of the orders we didn't want crisps but it came with crisps. The cakes looked nice.
If you go to Matlock Bath at the weekend it is full of bikers, so parking will be difficult, they park on the main road. there is a car park, at the top of the high street. Good luck getting a space. A smaller car perk is in the middle of the town, that has 27 spaces, this will also be full unless you are an early bird!
This place was fantastic! They catered to my allergies with absolutely no problem and could not do enough for us!

Great place to stop for a coffee, milkshake and cake. Love that fact there are a variety of non dairy milk options and also vegan cakes for someone who has an intolerance. Milkshakes for the children were brilliant. Great and friendly service. Our dog enjoyed sitting outside in the shade with a water bowl handy for her. Would definitely return!
We had a lovely stop off to shelter from the rain with my young family. Lovely vegan options, I was delighted to see matcha latte on the menu with a choice of milks (I went for coconut milk), one of the best I've had!
Staff were very polite, and all the food & drinks we ordered were made to a high standard. Would definitely recommend.
What a great cafe in Matlock Bath π delicious fruit scone with jam and cream with a great tasting mug of coffee, love the idea of a tiny party ring with tiny smarties with every drink you have absolutely fabulous. My daughter and grandaughter tried the warm croissant with jam (pics attached) They have some fabulous looking cakes. Staff very nice and friendly, staff couldnt do enough for you, the lady owner came to the table to ask if everything ok? love it when the owner of any establishment take time to speak to customers π will definately be back when next in the area. We went back in the afternoon for a coffee and grandaughter tried the chocolate cake, she said it was great, Definately recommend you visit if in the area. Thank you π
Fantastic cafe - they serve you at your table which is good. The white hot chocolate was fantastic as well and the lemon drizzle.
Service was excellent and the facilities are very clean. If I were to be really picky is that it does look like they donβt have an identity, everything is sort of everywhere which is good but it needs some sort of theme.
Fantastic bacon, brie and cranberry panini - very high quality ingredients. And the best decaf flat white Iβve ever enjoyed.
The owner & staff are super friendly and accommodating. Cannot recommend this little gem highly enough.
Came for a lunch stop whilst visiting Matlock Bath on a cold day. Lovely hot chocolate, served with a lot of cream. Food was warm, tasty and was filling. Was visiting with 4 other people and everyone enjoyed the food and drink they had. We also had cakes which were great. Nice cafe and a great place to visit if you are visiting the area.
Great place to take a break and have breakfast dinner or just a snack. Food cooked to order and served but friendly staff.
They also have a good vegan selection too. Well worth a visit.
Called in here before going to heights of Abraham. We sat outside in the sun π only to be served by a friendly waitress. A lovely flat white, tea and two milkshakes for the boys and we were happy. I have to say the attention to detail of this is really good , hats off to the owner, to who I met when paying my bill, you could tell the passion she had for the place , and we just talking about the coffee β , well worth a visit , it's one of first coffee shops you will find coming from train station car park. I only wish I hadn't eaten before coming out as food looked good too. ππ

The latte & the thick granary toast was lovely but I had a small complaint and brought it to the manager's (Joanne) attention who literally left me speechless with her lovely softness & kind words. Gobsmacked at how an amazing kind sweet woman she is, never seen customer service like that in my life, blown away by how sweet & professional she was. Wow if only every human was like her the world would be a better place honestly can't forget her kindness & attitude shown towards me today. She's left a mark & a beautiful reminder of how humanity should be.

Fabulous little independent Coffee Shop. Recently opened so still finding their way but everything was spot on. Lovely Coffee and Hot Chocolate, fruit scones and excellent sandwiches. All so much better than the high Street Giants. Great service from Lovely staff. Thanks
Had a lovely day in Matlock Bath yesterday and topped it off with lunch at the Fig Coffee house. Would highly recommend it, we had lovely coffee and I tried the Christmas chili tea which was amazing (and came with the cutest timer to show when my tea was strong medium or weak!) We had a couple of their home made sausage rolls and I had the red pepper and tomato soup with half a sandwich, delicious warming soup and a proper doorstop sandwich with really nice ham. Will definitely be back, nicest coffee in Matlock Bath

The cutest little place on this street- the staff were just so friendly and they have been accommodating to our vegan and vegetarian needs.
