The outdoor swimming pool fed from a thermal spring, set in spectacular scenery is ,for me, the unique selling point for this hotel. I dearly hope the new owners are successful in bringing the historic hotel and its wonderful pool back to life again.

This place has a lot of memories for old stafff, guests and locals alike, I hope the new owners can restore it to its former glory and that there will be dancing in the ballroom again.

This was a great hotel and it is wonderful that it is being brought back to life. My daughter was Events Manager/General Manager of the hotel in the naughties and we have great memories of her wedding, friends weddings, my 60th birthday party, stephanie's 30th birthday party and many Christmas party nights with work it will be great to be able to use the hotel again. Look forward to the opening.

Really interested in the renovations of this fabulous hotel. I'm 79 years of age and born and bread in Matlock bath and my husband and family from Parkfields, Starkholmes. My husband took me to the New Bath on our first date 60 years ago. We spent a life time at this hotel with my brother and sister in laws socialising and at dancing at fantastic dinner dances for round table and events. My Brother in Law was stationed at the original New Bath Hotel during the war. We had an annual season ticket for the pool and all the family spent long lazy summers at the new bath. My children learnt to swim in the pool. We now live in Nantwich, Cheshire but have strong emotional bond to this fantastic hotel.
