I work at the mining museum across the car park. I sometimes go to the kiosk to get some cheesy chips. Always a very generous portion with hearty covering of cheese. Cooked on order so nice and crispy. Would definitely recommend the chips

Great lunch. Food was delicious and has possibly one of the best views in town from the secluded seating area down by the river.

Our second visit on this week . Really looking forward to moving near here for day trips. This will be our food outlet here always Right on top of a river view. There are 4 park picnic tables behind kiosk, with plastic boards to sit on if its wet or snowy like today. The £5 Tea and bacon roll here

Such a beautiful place, view is incredible. Food was absolutely great, huge portions and really good quality. We definitely will come back

Couldn't fault it !! Great service, food and coffee was fine and sat by the river and enjoyed our lunch. Great value for money too !!

We visited the Kiosk multiple times during our week stay in Matlock. We used Matlock as our 'base' for exploring the Peak District and we sampled their breakfast choices when grabbing an early meal and their lunch menus when returning from our days out. Although we didn't try every item on the menu,

Just a nice little place grab a quick coffee or tea 🍵 😋 plus bacon and egg cobs and other food ,burger ect . Tables and bench with parasol, scenery fantastic 👌

This is matlock at night very lovely place to visit and at the weekend you'll see lots off bikes visiting. Lots for the kids as well like the 2p machine and some sweets and ice cream shops as well. Plenty off places to park your car

Lovely bacon and egg cob, good quality and very clean. Excellent coffee, think we have found our new breakfast stop.
