The best coffee shop in Matlock bath it’s got something for everyone, we took 5 children there today who all had different Freak shakes and they were the best they have ever had, made with homemade millionaires shortbread on one of them topped with loads of cream and goodies on top of a beautiful donut, the strawberry and shortbread one was fantastic and looked stunning and tasted just as good, I had a slice of cake which was a great sized slice well worth every penny it was heaven on a plate, we saw cream teas coming out which also looked fantastic, this coffee shop caters for everyone whether your looking for a stunning breakfast, the best freak shakes u will every experience or a slice of cake and coffee, I’m looking forward to going again to try one of the delicious panini’s on the menu and of course another slice of cake as there were so many to choose from, oh and deffo take a trip to the ladies where there is bottles of perfume to try on and aftershave in the men’s this coffee shop really has everything to make the perfect treat so don’t miss out take a visit today �
Lovely coffee shop/cafe. Friendly staff and lovely food, worth every penny. Can definitely recommend the lemon cake too!
Had breakfast here and I can honestly say it was one of the best breakfast I have ever had - highly recommend this place
This is the best cafe in Matlock Bath. Heather and her staff were so very nice and helpful to me and my husband, who were waiting for Breakdown, after our car locked with the car keys inside. We were cold because our coats were inside the car. We spent 2hrs in the cafe and had a lovely lunch and a pot of tea. We were also given a pot of tea on the house. We can't thank Heather and her staff for all they did. We will definitely visit again xxx
Me, my sister and my partner came inside for the first time today. Was spoilt for choice.. after ordering our food we sat down and waited a few minutes and our drinks arrived which were lovely �� our panini and toastie arrived. We were expecting a a panini with a bit of a side .. was amazed what came out, coleslaw, salad and crisps on the side! All for an amazing price. After eating we used the toilet , spotless .. and must say the "help yourself to perfume" is a lovely idea.. aswell as the women's toiletries if anyone needed! By far best presented cafe I've been to and will be returning when in Matlock again. Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere . Keep up the good work. 5/5!
I have had afternoon tea before in other places. I can honestly say that this is the most amazing one I have had. Plenty to eat and scrumptious cakes . Definitely recommend

Myself, my husband and 2 sons visited here while we were on holiday. Fabulous place. All the staff were lovely and friendly. The food was really good and reasonably priced.
Amazing choice of cakes. Would recommend and we would defiantly return next time we visit Matlock Bath .

My family and i called in yesterday for tea,coffee and scones which were warm and delicious, service was friendly and good. I would definitely recommend the forget me not cafe.
Been for lunch today, we have been a couple of times prior to this and I must admit whether we have coffee and cake or lunch, the food is fantastic!! And the prices are very reasonable too. The staff always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome. They do a great decaf cappuccino, which is difficult to find these days! We will definitely be going back!!
A lovely place to eat. Food possibly best in Matlock Bath, if you are not wanting a chip shop menu. The staff are friendly and attentive. There is a wait for meals but worth it. A pot of tea is just that, but may benefit from an extra tea bag. No complaints at all.
I've visited this nice place Saturday morning at 09:30 on my motorbike travels and the service was excellent. Full English cooked to perfection with some nice bread, great selection of cakes etc. Clean toilets located at the back, I'll definitely come back when in the area. Great job everyone!!
Visited last Saturday with a friend and had the most amazing afternoon tea! The food was fabulous and there was so much we had to bring the cakes home. Everything was brilliant - the staff, the service even the crockery was a joy. We'll be back again.
Stopped by for food on a hot day, very happy to sit under the aircon. And what food! We had stacks of pancakes - the Biscoff one (pictured) was amazing - and smoothies. Fantastic stuff!
We were impressed by the quality of the food served here. I ordered a chicken, bacon and stilton panini and the quality was very good.
A great range of freshly baked cakes complements the pleasant experience. We can highly recommend this place.
Beautiful cafe with friendly staff, reasonable prices, and delicious food/drink. I cannot recommend it more.

Food is excellent! Big chunks of roasted chicken in sandwiches! Decent portions, Yorkshire tea too! Dog friendly and staff are lovely
Cute little cafe in Matlock Bath. Very friendly staff, great selection of homemade foods and nice atmosphere.
Everything was clean and tidy, plus there was baby changing facilities in the ladies.
Stumbled upon this place and so glad we did, the staff were really friendly, everything looked very appealing but my daughter and myself had scones, my daughter had a cheese scone which was served warm with packets of butter and I didn't get chance to try but was told it was delicious, I had a fruit scone which was also served warm with clotted cream, jam and the biggest strawberry I think I've ever seen, I had a Americano with this which came with a good amount of milk, all served in good time and would definitely return.
Really lovely food and friendly staff, a real surprise for quality of food to be honest but we all enjoyed our lunches! Seemed highly priced but actually very worth it, coffee was good and lunch was tasty. Highly recommended along the main stretch, in fact looking at the others I would definitely go back here for the food!
Called in yesterday afternoon, parked virtually outside, my friend Joan and I ordered the quiche and salad, it was really fresh and tasty, we had a lovely coffee as well, the staff were really nice and friendly, will definitely be going there again, also had lemon drizzle cake to take away which was delicious.

Had a lovely lunch here while visiting. There was a great variety of food, the staff were all friendly and service was quick despite there being a large party in the cafe at the same time as us. The food was delicious. It was clean and overall a fantastic experience.
We will be returning next time we're in the area :)

Excellent, lovely helpful staff, top class homemade food and drinks. Lovely friendly atmosphere and dogs 🐕 are welcome. Beautifully clean...just a really great place. Definitely worth visiting, you won't be disappointed xxxx
