We love coming here for one of the best full English breakfasts around. Massive portion and everything was cooked perfectly served on a hot plate. It's only £7.95 too. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
Have been here quite a few times and as always did not disappoint. On this visit I had lasagne which is the best I've ever tasted and plum tart and ice cream for dessert which was also delicious. Service is excellent and reasonably priced. Will keep coming back for more.
I've been here several times now and can definitely rate the service and quality of food. The Fox Inn is family friendly and has a great 'beer garden' with plenty of space for the children to run around.
My only critique would be that there seemed to be no one available to clean the tables once tables become available (outside dining area) and we even saw one lady cleaning the table herself. It's a small criticism but other than that, friendly staff and an enjoyable visit.
We have just stayed at The Fox for one night while visiting Harlow, great family run pub, excellent food and a lovely atmosphere. Rooms have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We would most definitely recommend. 👍🏻😊
I stayed here for the weekend a couple of weeks ago with my mum, and we had a lovely stay. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was cosy and the breakfast in the room was ideal. We ate dinner in the pub both evenings too, the pub has a charming character, the food was delicious and hearty, and the girl singing with the guitar on the Saturday evening made it such a lovely atmosphere. We loved finding all the different statues of foxes around the building too! We would definitely choose to stay here again next time we’re in the area. Thank you for a great weekend!
Had a great roast at The Fox today! First timers & would highly recommend. No expert, but I know good food/quality when it comes, couldn't fault it in any way, tasty, good sized portion & everything one would expect from a decent roast dinner. As Arnie would say 'I'll be back' 😆
Came here for Sunday lunch with my partner and child. Staff were absolutely amazing and so friendly. Food was delicious.
One suggestion for improvement would be to be able to tip on card. We didn’t have any cash to tip and no option to do it on card.
Other than that, I highly recommend this pub.
Had Sunday lunch at The Fox. Great setting inside. There's a cottage feel to the place. It has charm. Food was excellent and with generous portions. Service was a touch slow yet not to the point it got to be terrible.
Will visit again next time I'm in the area.
I had my wedding last weekend at a venue close to the Fox Inn. I had booked some of the accommodation for some of our guests and they said how lovely the rooms were and how comfy the beds were too!
The Fox Inn hosted us for breakfast the day after the wedding (around 50 of us) and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The breakfast was so yummy and everyone enjoyed it so much!! Even when serving such a big number, everything remained perfect!
We had the best morning catching up with friends and family after the wedding and we can’t thank you guys enough! The staff are so lovely - your customer service is great.
Thank you all at the Fox Inn - we will be back soon to try more of the menu!!!

The host well what can I say, cheerful & helpful.
Accommodation spotless warm comfortable. A little continental breakfast on the side every thing in the fridge you can have all inclusive.
Just one thing I wish I went to ask and see if they had a mug for our tea. Not used to cups.
Bath nice deep and the water is hot yes actually hot not used to that.
Food recommend having especially the cheese cake & ice cream.
The Sunday dinner was very good indeed
( yes pudding should be 2nd on list I know I know ) good couple of non alcoholic beers.
The cooked breakfast was more than ample tasty. I asked if they could keep my egg separate from beans and toms
( I don’t like the beans or toms touching my egg as it churns my stomach I don’t know why honestly I don’t ) and they did.
Like to go back in the summer and explore a little more of the area. Definitely enjoyed the stay a proper lazy Sunday we both had food n bed

Lovely little place to stay. Rooms are set back from the pub and are quiet and clean. Lots of hot water in the shower, clean towels, tea and coffee, and a great breakfast bag for the morning.
The pub serves fantastic food which I highly recommend and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Meals superb albeit now more expensive, lovely friendly staff also a great drinking pub.

I had vegetarian sausages with mash, peas and onion rings. It was absolutely yummy!
My partner had fish and chips which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Food was piping hot , well presented and very tasty.
Only slight downside was lack of fans in restaurant as it was a very hot day, but that's minor.
Had lunch. Good memu at fare prices. Nice people work hete.
Great place for a stop over. Good food, lovely comfy pub. We arrived on a quiz night but had no issues with that. We had been informed about the quiz when we booked it. Friendly professional staff. Good size rooms clean and well equipped. Breakfast bag in room but could request cooked breakfast at extra cost. Fridge in room fresh milk in fridge along with water and orange juice for breakfast. Would highly recommend.
Great little place, lovely owners and really clean and well appointed. I arrived very late (midnight) which was not a problem at all; the owners went out of their way to help and checked me in no fuss. The room was great and so clean it puts my own house to shame. Lovely breakfast bag just what was needed. Highly recommend and not expensive at all. Thank you for having me.
