5 Stars is the maximum that i can give and that's not enough in this case i would give much more. We stayed her and a Family with two rooms booked and stayed for one night. Our rooms were at the back of the Hotel in what i believe is a converted stable kind of thing. The rooms are clean and warm and very welcoming we had rooms 18 and 21. The rooms are well presented and comfortable.
We Used the bar and restaurant while we stayed and found these to be very good the service was very good, the food was lovely and the choice of beers also good. We had breakfast the next morning and this was very good the staff are very helpful and friendly, We had our little boy with us and they could not do enough for him. I could go on and on with nothing but positive things to say out the kings head. its with out doubt that we would return here. Thank you for a very relaxing time.
We love the location. The Kings Head is a great place to stay. Friendly staff. Great real ale and food. Old peculiar real ale is excellent.
Our room had a high ceiling. They need an extended duster to get the dust weds down.
Great spot in the centre of the village by the square.
Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms, expansive dining area in the pub, lovely food and great service.
Thanks to all the team who looked after us throughout our stay.
Only went in for a meal at lunch time but the atmosphere was good. Menu is very good for both vegetarians and people who have a gluten intolerance. The staff are great and will have a bit of fun with you, especially a young lady by the name of Gay, she's the best. It's very dog friendly too with sausages thrown in. It's very well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area. Just a great place to visit. !!!!!!!!!!.
Had a family meal on the evening of Good Friday. We never had to grab attention from the staff they was always there when the drinks were low. The food was amazing. The children both also had clear plates. Great atmosphere. Fantastic location and when in Masham again we would not hesitate in eating here again.
Room was fine. Clean, well maintained and full of character. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Great quality and loads of it. After the full breakfast I didn't need to eat until the evening.
Great hotel with the best real ales of any chain hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff are very friendly, rooms clean. Only criticism would be the stingy portions on the full English. No black pudding, about 8 baked beans in a tiny ramekin, and the portion of mushrooms, you would think it was truffles by how tiny the portion was. Staff are great, though. Will be back, and next time ask for extra 😁 Oh, it you book through their website and have to pay on the way out, don't worry, when you booked and paid, they only took the authority and not the payment so you aren't paying twice. It's in the small print at the bottom of your booking email. Too many dogs, but that's the way things are these days.
Working away from home a lot, its important to find places to stay that are comfortable, clean, welcoming and serve good quality food. The Kings Head in Masham ticks all of those boxes. Highly recommended
Amazing location, and really lovely team here. I especially enjoyed breakfast with the very welcoming and entertaining Gaye & Chris! Thank you for a lovely first stay in Masham
We had dinner here on a wet Saturday in the New Year!
The Kings Head is a great big building right in the centre of Masham. It is lovely and welcoming inside, where we had a drink at the bar first before being seated.
There were 10 of us and the service was brilliant throughout. All the meals came at the same time, with no delays. The food was really nice, most of us had three courses. The staff were lovely and friendly.
I would definitely visit again, a lovely little place.
