Stopped here for a tour and tasting on the outward journey of a recent holiday. The brewery and its modern visitor centre are located in a pretty village surrounded by beautiful Dales scenery. I found the bar and shop staff very welcoming and friendly, and our guide Emma was both enthusiastic and i
A wonderful tour around the brewery with Alan. He was brilliant giving us the history of black sheep & the family behind it. Then seeing around the brew house & having the equipment & process explained. You get a token for free beer at the end so as we were trying these we looked at the restaurant m
We stopped at the brewery whilst passing this Saturday. We decided to do the 2pm tour and grabbed a bite to eat first. The food was too die for, service great, friendly and experienced and the tour was interesting and educational. I can well recommend for the food alone but when you throw in the
Very good food and excellent beer! The Welsh rarebit was excellent. The service was very good as well. I love the decor of the place, and I really enjoyed listening to the music they had playing, which is rare that I can say that.

We have had several meals here over the years, and they are consistently outstanding. Varied menu offerings, and each seems better than the last! Whenever we talk about our favorite meals from our trips to Yorkshire, our dinners here are always at the top of the list.
We started with the tour of the brewery, which was really interesting. Alan was knowledgeable and lovely. Just a note, if it’s cold outside, it will be cold in the factory so remember your coat!! Finished off with some beer and lunch in the bistro. The food was really really good. The pie, burger an
