A nice little find on the Solway coast with lovely views of the sunset from outside. We were made to feel very welcome and service was attentive and very pleasant. Food was tasty and good quality 'pub grub' Would happily return

We called here yesterday lovely clean pub the food was excellent service very good the lady behind the bar was very friendly not to badly priced toilets were very clean will definitely be going back we had the Sunday dinner
Always had a great meal , & knowing personally that the food /produce is sourced locally from the very best butchers / walshes / Harrison’s , knowing the chef & how hard they work, well done is all I can say for producing such fabulous homemade food food even under so much pressure at times 😊
The Stag is just off The Wall, which makes for a great stop. Had a Guinness on the back patio and chatted with other walkers. The bartender, nice and helpful.

This might be an overlooked gem. It's very rare that I venture out to this part of Cumberland, but on a friends recommendation I did and I'm very happy about it.
The restraunt area being fully booked was a good sign and the food did not disappoint, featuring pub classics and more adventurous world
Lovely food and service, the choice was excellent on the menu. Would go back. Even better it was dog friendly.

Great place for Sunday lunch. They also have an extensive gin and whisky list. 👍
Excellent food great choice they make you feel very welcome our 7 month old dalmation.. wilf .. loved it .. the real ale choice is limited but what they have is superbly kept possibly the best I've ever had lovely surroundings and toilets cannot recommend enough .. a must visit
