We had a fabulous meal there and the kitchen staff surprised a friend with a beautiful "Happy 50th birthday plate".

Just had an amazing gluten free afternoon tea at The Golden Lion, it was just as special as everyone else's platter ( which is rare!), and the vegetarian in our group said the same. Can't wait to go again!!!!! Staff were brilliant too!!
Food was so yummy and fresh. Nice variety too and it’s good there is different things on the menu. Compliments to the chef and staff !
Went here for our Christmas meal from work would recommend it meal was red hot and lovely and sevice was brill
