Beautiful fish, fried to order. Only about 5/10.mins wait too. Make sure you have cash though - there's sometimes a shortage of working cash machines in Maryport!

Really lovely! Got a few bits to go eat at the seaside as a family after the aquarium today, lady that served me was so lovely and down to earth, have visited here since I was little myself so felt fab to go back, food was all lovely fresh and not a single bit wasted, partner really enjoyed his fish which is freshly made when you arrive. Me, my partner and three little ones all ate for Β£16.50, can’t complain about a single thing so I definitely would recommend 😊

A very nice afternoon capped off with Fish n Chips. Lovely staff- Chips were superb but the fish was a little on the thin side (as if it had been sliced on a bacon slicer). Batter was top notch but hard work due to the lack of fish inside. More fish next time guys... all in all an enjoyable meal.

Brilliant fish +chips. I always get some when I come from Carlisle and I eat them sitting on the harbour wall. I brought a French visitor last summer, and the lady in the shop was SO NICE with him and patient, and gave him a free sample to taste. He was delighted and I felt really proud of the Cumberland welcome. Well done Cross Quays.

Absolutely amazing πŸ₯° best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time! Made even better by being able to sit on the harbour on a sunny day and enjoy it! Reasonably priced too! We will be returning 😍

Probably the best chipshop in England. I have eaten at the famous whitby chip shop and Cros Quays is far superior.

Very busy the Saturday evening we went, but well worth the wait. Fish was cooked to perfection and chips were a generous portion. Excellent service.

I've been to hundreds of chip shops and takeaways in the country with work and tend to give a feedback to a trending food reviewer. The establishment - Clean, Well respected. Lady served me was polite. Anyway, the food I ordered fish and chips as standard. It's hands down one of the best, nar it's the best. The fish was battered in the nicest batter I've ever tasted, so light and had seasoning to it, the fish was a nice fillet that flaked off perfectly. The flavours can't be matched anywhere in this country. The chips are cooked perfectly, light and fluffy. This chip shop should be teaching others how to make perfect fish and chips. Well done πŸ‘
