Amazing food ... Wish burger was available on its own with onion rings . I hate to waste food, burger was enough had to leave most the chips salad.. Well worth the money

Popped in here after a days walking. What a pleasant experience. Firstly nice friendly staff, helps when you’re a lone traveller. Really pleased to have a roast dinner option, such a nice change from chips with everything. Even better, I was able to order the ‘child’s portion’ so nothing was wasted. It was lovely. Why can’t more pubs be like this? Well done The Lifeboat Inn x

Service staff was courteous and helpful when we asked about desserts. Food portions are large by Asian standards. Waiting staff automatically placed order for the more expensive cod fish and chip without asking us which one when we asked for fish and chips. Luckily the price difference is only 1.50£. But it’s ok as food was fresh and tasty.

every time we go to mary port we always go to this pub 🍻 dog 🐶 friendly and not too bad on the price of the meal and the staff members are very friendly and on a nice day sitting outside or sitting in the side it's up to you.

Sat out in the back beer garden today and it was glorious. The staff are lovely as is the landlady. We got the carvery and were not disappointed. To say the portions are large is an understatement. Wonderfully home cooked food with plenty of choice. Will be coming back to try the rest of the menu ❤

We were on a fortnight's holiday in maryport in June 2021, we had several meals here and were never disappointed, the fish and chips were excellent the fish was fresh and flaky and the scampi was the best I've had, it was so fresh and tasty and the prices are very reasonable, a lot of the staff seemed to be new this was just after the reopening after lockdown and this was a slightly weak area of the business which will probably improve over time
