Quiet bar, with very pleasant staff. Warm enough to sit outside and brave the pesky wasps, I ordered the bean chilli with a side of sweet potato fries. The chilli was very tasty although a tad luke warm which was a shame. It was served with salad, tortillas, rice and guacamole. The sweet potato fries were great. Dogs are welcome inside and out, they sell doggie ice-cream and apparently a dogs breakfast in the mornings!
We have been Conklin here for the breakfast for the last year or so and never written a review.
The breakfast is by far the best around. It is reasonably priced, served with a smile and made with top quality ingredients.
It is presented well with beans in a separate cup, a crispy hash brown and a cross hatched fried egg which looks and tastes amazing.
Cannot fault it after numerous visits.

Superb breakfasts. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches. Excellent fish and great outdoor area for the children.
Great food here. They no longer do a carvery on Sundays, but they recently refurbished the inside, so it has more character and it looks a even nicer than before. There are some farm animals here, some lovely lakes to walk around and many fishermen. Good for young children as well.

Nice , but it was better when they didn't have a painted chip board wall separating the kitchen..it looked very tacky..not at all as nice as when it first opened..but the food was good.

I didn't try the meals but the cakes were good. I did peek at people's food and it looked well prepared and presented. Coffee was good.
Lovely service, beautiful drinks. Food unfortunatley overcooked. Animals very friendly. Indoor play kitchen for kids.
