Lived in the village for 5 months and finally made our first trip recently. 4 of us went for a Saturday evening meal. The service was top notch and the food was cracking pub food. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting but make sure to book for busy evenings and Sunday dinner. Will definitely be going back

Food was amazing, the best we have had in a long time on a night out. One of our party had the steak and black pudding pie and described it as the best pie he had ever had and the white bait was absolutely beautiful and the portion sizes were fantastic. We will definitely be back (lots)

This is a lovely pub tucked away in a small village, but they were kind enough to fit my family and I in on a Sunday lunch!! Very helpful and polite staff, food quality was excellent and very reasonably priced. Great place to spend a sunny Sunday in February. Thanks to the team at the Bell!

The Bell is our local and its a great little, traditional English pub. What was the snug is now the restaurant, where you can enjoy a good meal in peace and the main bar is dog friendly. Saira, Karl and the team will give you a warm welcome and the ale is good. There's a garden with play equipment. The food is typical pub fayre with generous portions. It's well cooked and in the current economic climate the prices are very reasonable. They also offer a great Sunday roast, but its best to book because it gets busy! All the meat comes from the butcher over the road who is a member of the Scotch Beef Association. He can track his beef from field to plate.

Good food and service, and good beer, too. Very friendly and accommodating with generous portions. They also offer a decent gluten free roast including the Yorkie pudding!

A nice old fashioned pub with a bar and lounge.. Very old school.. One of the best meals I have had... Ordered the mixed grill.. Was told it might take 45 mins but came in 20.. cooked to perfection.. The steak was so tasty. Staff where so helpful and polite. Table service was amazing. Had everything I needed.. will 100% come again and recommend.. A must if your local...

Have been going for many years in a group of approx on average twenty people. Always for an evening meal. Never had a problem and always with a smile.

Lovely pub with garden and parking place. The pies (lamb and mint, steak and ale) were truly exquisite while the chips and peas quite average (probably frozen). The service is a bit slow, but it was worth waiting for the dishes. Very friendly staff, good choice of ales. We will definitely go back.

The best tasting lasagne I've ever had. Hubby's sausage and mash was very impressive too. A little gem. Go try it!

If you are looking for a trendy, modern pub, this isn't it. If you want to enjoy a small local pub, with friendly service, tasty meals, a couple of real ales as well as the usual suspects and plenty of space (outside) to relax then this place ticks the box. It has regulars, it has kids playing, and it has laughter regularly heard. It's a pub for the community, and it doesn't get better than that.
