First time ordering from the hatch and extremely impressed with the customer service. Rang up to order as out of delivery zone and spoke to the manager I think.. what a lovely lady. Couldn't do anymore to help us and even agreed to deliver our food for us. After waiting a little while we received a call to let us know that the delivery driver was going to be in late so our food would be a little later than originally stated. Delivery driver then rang us before he left to inform us he was on his way. We ended up wait about 1h 45mins but when it arrived it was most definitely worth it!
All still piping hot - best parmos we've had in a long time! We got two platters, one with Hawaiian, Mac and cheese and meat fest and the other platter with Hawaiian, hotshot and Caribbean twist. Good size, could of shared.
Will absolutely definitely be returning customers - food quality and customer service both amazing!
Food here is absolutely gorgeous! The chips are AMAZING! I live in Newcastle and have tried alot of parmos when I'm down here. The Vault Hatch is by far the best. Friendly staff, totally recommend this place.
Just had our first parmos from The Hatch. The home made chips are fantastic and a welcome change from the usual mushy fries served up at most takeaways. The parmos themselves were made from nice thick chicken and were genuinely better than many I've had from a lot of sit down restaurants.
The staff were friendly and accommodated our request for different toppings than those on the menu.
We'll definitely be back soon.
Loved our parmo platter, I did get the vegetable one not thinking it was vegetarian, (i thought it was going to have a veg topping) it was yummy though! Salad didn't arrive but that's not the end of the world. It was delivered on time and Andy the delivery driver was very polite, will be ordering again. Thank you
Had our first take away from VH on Thursday. I've heard good things about their food but honestly thought there may be a bit of hype. We ordered by phone for a collection and was informed it would be ready in 30 mins. Unfortunately our food was delayed due to an issue with the friers over at the main restaurant, they literally came and stole all their chips. So I was somewhat disappointed that I had to wait longer and was thinking we'd made a mistake choosing them that night. So, ignore all that because that's the only negative thing I can tell you about VH. I can honestly say, they served me the finest, meatiest, flavoursome, light crispy, non-greasy battered cod I have had in my entire life. It was amazing. I am never ever getting fish and chips from anywhere else. Absolutely brilliant.

Really delicious parmo with proper chips. All freshly cooked by friendly staff, and excellent value too. Even better, they use environmentally good boxes.
Always found the wait is worth it, best chips I've had. Staff are lovely. Try the 3 parmo combo.. wish they were in Yarm. Yes i travel all the way from Yarm for one.
Food perfect I can't find any faults, the lady that answered the phone to take the order for our delivery to St Germains Grange was so helpful and polite I will tell friends and Family to please try this food it is beautiful, so thank you all that work at the Vault Hatch takeaway you should be so proud of your food, Perfect is the word, Yes we will be ordering again and again Thank you, we all enjoyed our takeaway x
Just been 2 the hatch 4 the 1st time..was unbeliveable had Hawaian Parmo..fries..salad..and coleslaw..which was 2 die 4 ..creamy and very tasty..the fries wer spectactular..parmo cooked perfect..just enuff betchamel ..not greasy..not overcooked..perfect..and very reasonable priced..good size portions ..which is a 10 4 me straight away..ive had parmos all over teesside and wud put TheHatch in my top 2 alongside Parkend..but the fries wer the best ive ever tasted..will deffo be goin back again 100% ..nice freindly service...and i drove 4 mile home b4 i eat it..and was still piping hot...very impressed all round.....thanks ..see ya soon.
I now know what the hype is all about and why there is a 90 min wait.Ordered 2 parmo platters and where stunning quite simply the best around.Good things come to those who wait.Sorry could only leave you five stars.
