Loooved the flavours in the oxtail and kimchi stew, the poached eggs were lovely and runny, the meat was locally sourced and delicious. Would definitely come again 😁🙌

Superb! Yes it’s a bit pricier than others locally but portions massive and the bread/cakes are made on site and delicious. First class service and great wine list. Will be back!

Lovely place. Very friendly service, they're reading in our mind ❤️ Fresh, tasty food. We ordered salmon and poached eggs with sourdough, and breakfast. Portions were big enough, well presented. I'm an experienced chef, I know what I'm talking about. Trust me. Just go there and enjoy your meal 🙂

I never imagined when we looked for a little cafe to get a good coffee in Marske-by-the-Sea that we were actually going to find such a gem! I was expecting standard crowd pleasers, but instead got really state of the art lunch and fab cakes made by someone who used to work with Benoit Blin (the judge on Bake Off The Professionals). The savoury lunches featured an interesting selection of vegetarian, vegan or meat options, with fashionable fermented items such as locally-produced kimchi bringing a bit of vavavoom to the dishes. The cakes all looked amazing and we enjoyed the varying flavours and texture of our macaron and financier. I was not expecting food of this quality in a little seasoning de cafe and it was a real treat! Some people may be surprised by the prices, but if you are know the difference between price and value you’ll appreciate the quality on display. Yum yum!

Called in for a coffee while on a walk from Redcar to Saltburn and just had to have one of their fabulous cakes! I’ll certainly return if in the area.

I had the banana bread with pear for breakfast. Whilst I'd call it more a dessert it was basically the greatest sweet dish I'd ever had and would glady have that morning, noon or night. More addictive than heroin. The coffee (cappuccino) was extremely creamy and smooth and very hot. 10/10

My partner and i visited this morning for the first time after hearing so much positive feedback within the local community. I cannot express enough how impressed we were with every aspect of our experience at Craigs from the wonderful friendly staff to the delicious breakfast and cake selection finishing with the refreshing home made fruit juice and excellently prepared ground coffee. Superb local business and worth every penny M & R

Quiet when we went, probably due to weather. Friendly staff.

Craigs isn’t your average cafe, Craigs is run by an artist, not just someone who is a good cook. The food is divine - the menu changes every so often and so you can constantly discover this clear culinary talent. The chef knows how to pair flavours, herbs, spices and high quality ingredients to provide the customers with heavenly flavours. I’ve tried dishes I’ve never had before and I’ve always been incredibly impressed. Everything is made from scratch, fresh and of high quality. When you go to Craigs be brave to experiment and order something unique, let him take you on an adventure. And if you’re a fan of pickles - order sides from their house fermented foods! Enjoy!

Always a treat going in here. Always greeted by a wonderful person, be it the manager, owner or one of the other staff. They're always happy to help you. The desserts are divine, always having different variations of amazing pastries and cakes. That doesn't mean the rest of the menu is sub par, it's wonderful. Always love getting chance to go.

Had a wonderful breakfast here during our holidays! Would have liked to order one each of all the mouth-watering items on the menu, but decided to be sensible and go for just one in the end - the miso mushrooms on toast. Loooved it! The bread was delicious, and so was the topping. The cake we took away for our picnic that afternoon was lovely, too. Definitely want to come back and sample some other dishes.
