Stayed in a lay-by near to this small town's entrance off the A road. Lay-by was perfect for overnight parking, some trees to separate from main road, and the Catherine Wheel was a 10 minute walk away. I notice on here that someone posted that it was the best pub food they'd ever had. We actually

The best pub roast we've ever had! More than enough food which was well cooked. Staff were lovely and friendly and the whole experience was fantastic. We will definitely go back when we're in the area again.

An absolutely fantastic Sunday roast comprising of three separate plates of delicious food! My wife had soup and salad and said it was equally great!

I went for the food and beer. The food was incredible and by far one of the best pubs for food that I've ever been to. I had the pork belly and it was perfect. My friend had lasagne but unfortunately it was mostly tomato based with very little meat. That aside, my personal experience was fantastic.

Excellent service, food, ale, and cider. Love the Cotswold Gin. Had lasagna with chips. Both good. Friendly locals and travelers. Will do again.

Met family for lunch. Very good service and nice food although not large portions. A little off the beaten track but definitely worth a visit. Small car park at the rear or additional parking on the street outside.

A large group of us had lunch there. We had pre-ordered and we were all served quickly. It's also good to pop in for a drink. Staff are friendly, beer prices are displayed and they serve a several non alcoholic beers.

Stopped in for lunch. Good food good service vegan friendly. I had the vegan risotto very nice indeed. Toilets were clean.
