Cycling through Marple Bridge and came upon this cafe / restaurant, with outdoor seating in a quiet spot in the sun overlooking the river. Friendly welcoming staff & warm atmosphere inside & out. Place to leave our bikes near the outdoor seating. We are vegan so chose the vegan carrot cake and vegan chocolate & mint cake with decaf soya cappuccino. Absolutely delicious. If you are in Marple Bridge - stop here, you won't be disappointed!!

Stopped here at end of a Sunday ride. Busy, as you would expect, but service was friendly and the sausage rolls were to die for. Seats outside at rear had lots of space for bikes. Will definitely use again next time I am riding in the area.

We went to Libbys this morning. I had scrambled eggs on toast and hubby and son had a sausage roll each. Both said the sausage roll was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast too. There are tables overlooking the river too but no waiting on service there, only inside.

Amazing! We stumbled upon Libby's when driving through Marple earlier today. Two adults, a two year old and a four year old. The service was exemplary (very accommodating to the needs of the youngsters) and the food was delicious and a very reasonable price. I'd love to go back and will make sure that, at some point, I do.

Had really nice breakfast here- coffee great, all the food was lovely and big portions. Bread was beautiful. We also got some take away cakes and sausage rolls which we can’t wait to eat! It was a busy Saturday morning but the staff were still really friendly and helpful. Would definitely call in again next time I am in the area

A popular venue for Sunday brunch, the opening of tables upstairs gives Libby's lots more space. The bakery is the key to the atmosphere, with a great array of cakes, Danish pastries and bread on the counter as you enter. The menu has a range of typical brunch favourites, maybe a bit limited but ok. With no fresh juices or smoothies, the drinks lack sparkle. Friendly service from the young team, but overall it was no more than ok. But it's still an institution!!

Libby's is one of my wife and my favourite places. The breakfast options are great. Today we stopped in for lunch and the food was as excellent as always! The steak and eggs was fab. It's a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and superb food.

Called in here for refreshments after taking a very nice local walk by the canal. Obviously, it was a popular spot as there was a steady stream of customers. Good cake and pastry selection.

Lovely food. Lovely atmosphere. Good with my gluten intolerance. The only negative I can say is that the very young workforce that was in on the Saturday I visited were not as attentive, and aware of customers wanting their attention as they could have been.

Busy little place, superb value for money. We had poached eggs and avocado on toast for brunch. The home made bread was amazing! We will be back for cakes soon. 😍

Love it here, it’s one of our favourite places to eat, we are plant based and there’s always plenty to choose from, and we do have the fish now and then, it’s always gorgeous and tasty, and they do a dam good cocktail too x
