A hidden gem. Haven't been to this garden centre for a very long time and I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised! We had booked afternoon tea. Although we had to wait quite a while to be served, the food was good and the staff were friendly. The garden centre itself is a great place to vis
Went to the garden centre with friends for a cream tea. Scones were huge and of good quality. Teapots were large, earthenware and didn't drop. Cream and jam were supplied in more than adequate quantities. Can't say fairer than that. Some of the outside chairs were a bit low for the table, but o
Had there afternoon 3times since the offer started.Very impressed and definitely pulling the punters in. Garden centre also had so much choice.Though prices for plants are high considering we are coming up the end of the season now. Always love the eating house.
Found some lovely, healthy shrubs that I have been trying to get for a month. Great selection.
A delicious breakfast, with excellent service plus 2 coffees included. My only criticism is that the room we were in was a bit chilly and could have done with some heat. We have decided to make ot a monthly thing where 8 of us meet here for a breakfast and a look around the garden centre.
This is a very pleasant Garden Centre that, although similar to the others of this tote, has very friendly staff who know their subject, and if unsure of an answer, will take the trouble to find out. It isn’t a massive site, like some of the others around, but still manages to stock everything you
Cafe situated in Hillier Garden Centre. In line with cafes at other sites this is a great place for light bites, cakes and drinks. Clean eating area and excellent helpful staff. For larger meals, fish and chips are on the menu (not tried). Plenty of parking available though may be tighter at weekend
Service was a little slow but was pleasant enough. Scones were fresh and sausage rolls were good.all heated.
Tasty snack lunch . Went to see garden furniture and saw some possible products. Could not find any staff to help us identify plants for a balcony.
Nice little garden centre restaurant, mostly OK but can occasionally dissapoint. Had to return an undercooked scone on last visit. Real shame given they are usually 1st class
Nice welsh rarebit, quiet place, a bit understaffed currently but not a problem today
Lovely fresh food. Must get there early otherwise you will wait a long time in the queue and waiting for your food to arrive. Other than that, lovely.
