Despite reading the recent not so good reviews I decided to bring the family here to celebrate Mum's 98th Birthday. It was our first visit and chose this venue as the location looked lovely. The menu choices were quite standard, I chose a very good calamari and my brother had an excellent vichyssois
The best afternoon tea experience you will had, also the staff is very friendly especially Hulya she was very kind. And if you are Muslim ask about Halal food and she will help you.

Very good restaurant, my steak was perfect. The staff were professional and friendly in a lovely location alongside the river.
My mum and I went for afternoon tea at the riverside restaurant, and we’re waited on by the most loveliest waitress named Hulya. She was so attentive and friendly and really made our experience so special and memorable. Thank you so much, I would highly recommend you visiting and if Hulya is working

Have not been to this hotel in 8 years so I was looking forward to revisit. We had a reservation for Sunday lunch and was immediately welcomed upon our arrival by reception staff. The restaurant has stunning views of the river and the food matched. The Roast Beef and Yorkshire pudding was delicious
