Great friendly service and really good, authentic Thai food. Reasonably priced unlike the Giggling squid and better food IMHO.

Stay for one night. The room was very clean and although small had everything you would need. Breakfast was excellent and plentyful. The pub in the evening was a pleasant surprise with welcoming staff and very friendly locals. Location is perfect ...walking distance of train station, high street and bus stop. Great area for river walks too. Only downside was we wanted to stay longer ! Will definitely return !

I really enjoyed my stay in The Prince of Wales. The room is a bit small but comes with all amenities - even a complimentary bottle of water. The staff are very nice and helpful. In the morning, they cook you a breakfast on demand.

We visited the prince of wales for a Father’s Day lunch today . It was also a surprise birthday get together. The pub were so accommodating, they allowed us in slightly before opening to setup, we also had a puppy with us and they positioned us where we could have the dog with us. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and despite being short staffed and it being Father’s Day m the food came out quickly and it was cooked to perfection. The special Parma ham salad was fresh and well dressed and not the normal limp salad pubs serve, and the pizza’s were huge, well cooked and the choice of toppings made it very difficult to choose. They are also freshly made so can cater for any changes required and even offers to do a half and half. The chicken tikka Bhaji pizza was to die for and I will definitely be ordering it again on our next visit. They have a good range of drought lagers and bottle etc and it’s a lovely pub surrounding. You won’t be disappointed, we had a thoroughly enjoyable time

Just stayed for one night. Very friendly welcome, lovely clean and airy room. Plenty of tea, ocoffee, sugar & milks. Fluffy towels. Breakfast was freshly made for us, very enjoyable. Had a lovely chat with the chef after breakfast. Can’t wait to go back, but for longer next time.

What a wonderful pub! Stopped there last night after a recommendation and it was brilliant. Really friendly staff, who loaded the dog with treats, and a lovely atmosphere. We had the pizza which was delicious and the chips which were fried perfectly.

So good to find a proper friendly local pub in Marlow. Only minutes from the high street and a different world. The staff were lovely and made our stay a real pleasure. They have good selection of beers from various breweries and a great selection of spirits. The room was very clean and comfortable. The English breakfast was fantastic with plenty of other choices if you want them. We will definitely be going back next time we're in Marlow. Recommended if you want genuinely friendly and comfortable stay.

American visiting Marlow. I have to say, this place was fantastic. The best kind of people working the pub and the owner is a standup guy. Rooms were very clean and cute. Ask for room 4, if you have a choice. It's the best. But others were great as well, don't get me wrong. Breakfast cooked to order, full English available, just let them know when you plan on being down the night before so they can be ready. Cozy. Friendly. Felt like home. That's the best way I can put it. And the best place I could have asked for during my 15 day stay. I was there I think 6 nights. And as I bounced around GB I always looked forward to my nights back at the Prince. That's where I recharged. Speaking of recharging, the outlets do have USB. Mini fridge in the closet, just be sure the switch for the outlet is on for it. Super comfy beds. Quiet nights. Close to Marlow's High street where most of what the town has to offer is located. Side note - Marlow is a fantastic little town. If you come from the Midwest USA like me, it's like an alternative reality where people actually show up to small towns. It's how I imagined my hometown probably looked 60-70 years ago, as far as downtown liveliness goes. Lots of young people in the evening and nights. A couple late night clubs. Really really good food options. Lavvin and Marlow Bar and Grill were my favorites for meat. I appreciated everyone at the Prince of Wales so much. A trip I won't soon forget for sure. Really hope I make it back someday.
