The Chequers - Marlow - Photo album

Food was nice and service was really quick - we took a Sunday Roast with a friend. The Sunday Roast tasted good but isn't the best I've eaten. So I consider it a bit pricey. The only point that I didn't enjoy was that a couple came after us with two dogs and sat just next to us. I'm uncomfortable ne
We visited The Chequers for Sunday lunch. Nice location and welcoming atmosphere in the pub. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Decent selection of lunches on offer. My father really enjoyed his Cod dish. And our nieces enjoyed their burgers. The Roast beef was well cooked, with good selection
Ate dinner tonight and the food really was outstanding. Juicy and tender chicken with plenty of flavour and the burger very similar. Sweet potato and regular fries cooked perfectly. Good service too.
Nestled in the High Street we went for a weekday pub dinner and the steaks were amazing! Cooked to perfection. Server was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Would highly recommend the steaks there.
The Chequers has been my go to for the best steak for years. The Chateaubriand is just incredible and always cooked to perfection. Nothing bad to say, and always a pleasure. Keep up the good work!
Gorgeous boutique pub, restaurant and rooms, right on the high street Food and service was delicious. Rooms are quirky. Lots of nice attention to detail. Will definately be back!
New menu is great. The steaks here are unbelievable. Can’t recommend enough. We had the filet steak and it was second to none
*Sept 2023* Wonderful service. Sunday roast was nice - gravy could better - less watery. More veg would be welcome. Fab wine selection - merlot was delicious. Pigs in Blankets was nothing special. Treacle pie and panna cotta were delicious. *Nov 2022* Fab steak - ribeye divine! Warm service. I'll b
Stopped at @thechequersmarlow #pub for a spot of #lunch whilst the #sun was out. Did not disappoint. We had what some may call a basic lunch whilst spending the #afternoon in #marlow 🥪. What a lovely pub this is. #quality #ingredients and #presented really well. #service was very #friendly and not
Great Sunday Roast. My only negative point is that there was too much gravy drowning the plate. Surely it is better to have a jug on the side and let the diner pour it on
It was a really nice place, the staff were very friendly. A good selection of ale and cocktails. Nice menu too.
The Chequers Pub on Marlow Highstreet is a decent place for a drink or some food with friends. Well appointed inside the pub has beers on tap from local breweries such as Brakspear. Staff were polite and friendly. Had a nice pint of Gravity.
Very good food. Excellent service for our large group - food arrived hot for everyone.
Had an absolutely amazing meal here, incredible service from Gio and Maya, empty plates and glasses kept on top of, food came out fast and was amazing, overall 10/10 experience, would recommend to anyone in the area.
Nice Sunday roast with a chicken breast, potatoes, some pieces of vegetables and Yorkshire pudding, poece of stuffing, gravy. It was enough to be full.
Lovely pub with well priced drinks, Esther was on the bar and was lovely to both me and my wife. I look forward to returning!
Seated quickly by very pleasant staff. Drinks arrived then the order was placed. No rush just the right timings. We chose the fish & chips which when it arrived was super. The batter not too thick & the fish was lovely & moist. All in all a lovely lunch.
