I had a lovely afternoon at 'The Botanist Bar' My friend and I chose a table at the front of the bar with open windows, giving it an indoor outdoor feel, perfect for people watching and vintage car spotting if that's your thing. Really nice chilled atmosphere for a sunny afternoon. The bar man reco
We had the cocktail masterclass with Dan which was brilliant and then a booked table for an hour with pre-ordered drinks that wasn't ready and then dinner which again was lovely and then I reserved a table for 9.30 after dinner for the entertainment that I never got. This was our first visit to rhe Botanist and we were mostly pleased with our food choices although one meal was cold. I chose the Red Thai prawn kebab which was very tasty as were the chips. The roast beef was delicious and the vegetables were very fresh. Vegetarian options were thoroughly enjoyed.

I’ve been here many times, always enjoy the food and the service is good. On this occasion they had a musical bingo event on, which I wasn’t aware of in advance (although it was advertised in the toilets and probably on the website had I looked for it). I had met friends for a catch up and found tha
Nice large venue, live music on a Sunday when we visited with friends . The extensive menu was not available, only the Sunday one but sufficient choice nonetheless. All the hanging kebabs were good including the haloumi one. Good efficient service, well presented tasty food. We I’ll visit again mid
