Visited this community run pub on the last day of our stay in Wiltshire. The pub is run by locals and currently all employees except the chef are volunteers. This did not impact the fantastic service and the warmth of the people that run this place. Food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed every
Lunch today for 4 at this lovely pub. Our first visit and we were very pleasantly surprised at the friendliness and welcome from the volunteer staff.
Our waitress Lindsay was charming and helpful and did a wonderful job, especially considering this was her first day as a volunteer waitress.
The food
Don't let the main road location put you off. A gem of a pub serving great Sunday roasts with excellently kept real ale and a great selection of wines. Atmosphere was spot on, nice and relaxed, yet perfectly attentive staff. Made our family of 8 including two young ones feel really at home.

There's some outside space which could do with a little tlc, but overall would definitely recommend this character full, quirky pub!
