A lovely place to stop for afternoon tea and food. Staff are polite and friendly. Plenty of variations of tea to choose from. We had gluten free butternut squash scones, yummy.

Great selection of loose leaf teas, I was spoilt for choice. I went with the honey Bush tea, it was delicious and full of flavour. My partner had a nice coffee and chocolate and Guinness cake which he loved. Really friendly and attentive staff. Looking forward to going back again to try more of the different teas on offer.

This is by far the best cafe I have visited in Marlborough. It’s tucked a bit out of the way just off the upper end of the high street but well worth the search. A warm and friendly welcome from the staff on arrival set the tone for the whole visit. The interior of the old building is spacious and the decor is sympathetic to it. The selection of teas is unbelievable. We chose the Popcorn Green Tea and Earl Grey. Teas are served in infuser teapots with a timer to get the brew just right. Both delicious and true to menu descriptions. The lunch menu is innovative and healthy. We chose their cream cheese and strawberry bagel with a side salad and the Scone Ploughman’s with Goats Cheese and chutney. The bagel was simply heavenly, as was the freshly baked scone, and both came attractively presented. Service was superb. We will definitely make this out cafe of choice on future visits tonMarlborough. Can’t wait to return.

I wouldn't say I'm massively into tea, but I'd like to think I have a certain amount of respect/admiration for any area of connoisseurship (if that's a word). To my (uninformed) eyes the tea list here was rather impressive, and although I unadventurously went for the house blend I found it to be a very pleasant cup of tea - mellow but really fragrant and interesting. The "light lunches" really are quite light, but that's entirely as advertised, and I think likely well suited to their core customer base. It's probably only "young" people (I'm in my 40s) like me who slightly wish they'd ordered something more substantial, or perhaps more than one item. In fairness the prices are also appropriately "light", and the quality of the food and presentation standard was good... But if you're a hungry sort of person then perhaps order more than one thing.

This café is a little gem and a must for tea lovers. Tucked around the corner from the main shopping street, it seems to get less trade than it deserves. There is a huge selection of teas, plenty of cakes and an unusual range of tasty lunch options. The soups are delicious and can be accompanied by any of a good range of savoury scones. The décor is eclectic and relaxing and there is even a small shop in the cellar. Don't miss this one!

Excellent, first class! On 23rd August I was with my wife and daughter in Marlborough and we wanted an afternoon tea/coffee. We passed many of the usual coffee chains and even an independent that looked rather dark and depressing inside. Losing heart we literally stumbled on a sign in the high street that referred to Tea Inc around the corner, off the beaten track, so we took a look. My wife and daughter wanted tea and, wow, what a selection there was! A tea taster's paradise. I wanted coffee and there was even a reasonable selection there too. We also decided on Cornish/Devon cream scones and were not disappointed. They were served hot from the oven along with jams with an unusual twist. Excellent, friendly service, and a good price too. You can keep your Costas and Starbucks. Tea Inc! could not be beaten!

A lovely tea room in Malborough. Everything is better in life with amazing cake. We got there later in the afternoon just before closing. Only two cakes available were mango swirl and chocolate. But the taste was absolutely amazing. Decently priced too. Will definitely go again, earlier to catch more options on the cake. The staff in this place were so friendly and welcoming.
