The pub is lovely and clean and very accommodating for families with high chairs, baby change facilities and a good selection of kids food. We had a family lunch and all the food was delicious and fresh and came in generous portions, I highly recommend the fish and chips!
Very nice room excellent breakfast great atmosphere and handy location right on the High Street. Would highly recommend.
We stayed over at the bear and had a great time , stayed in room 1 which was spacious , comfortable and had everything we needed , breakfast was amazing so much and really tasty , the pub had a singer on and everyone was singing along , such a lovely atmosphere, hope to return soon , thankyou for a great stay
The bear is a great place to social good music great staff and generally a great atmosphere , very understanding landlord & landlady and they treat you as you wish to be treated ����

We had are Christmas meal in there last night, they very kindly let us have a large room upstairs, which they decorated for us and it was brilliant. We were all seated, then our starters were served... Amazing starters, then the mains... Amazing main meals too, after a little break the dessert... OMG amazing. The staff were fantastic, the landlady and landlord were so lovely and couldn't do enough for you. They had coffee all set up for us if we wanted any. The whole night was fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed myself and would recommend the bear for a large Christmas Party.
Thank you for what you all done for us last night. We would have been stranded otherwise.
The owners of this pub restored faith into humanity they took us in when we was stranded in the snow they had no rooms but made us beds up on the floor. police had shut all roads out of the town and these amazing people helped a lot of people out hats off to you guys. ��

Cracking pub. Clean and smart rooms. Manager was really helpful. Friendly locals. I had an early start and he sorted for me to have a takeaway sandwich and a brew. Definately visit again.
I had a lovely Xmas dinner nice portion size was sooooo stuffed but really I joyed the hole evening . If anyone is thinking of having a work party the bear hotel is the one to go to . A big thank you to all the staff for your worm welcome I'll be back soon for more lovely food

Good atmosphere nice ambiance cosy to many televisions but having said that I am watching the Rugby so I appreciate the extra televisions.
Had a great night in the bear on Saturday,friendly atmosphere,good beer,and listened to the excellent Burbank.

Walked in without a booking, fantastic atmosphere with all the locals singing to some classic kenny rogers. The greek mezze platter starter was stunning and the main was fab! Also good value for money! Loved it!
Wonderful meal and nicely priced. Best risotto I've ever had and I've had a few!!
