Really cheerful welcome and lots of smiles. You can tell s happy bunch of people and the guys were definitely that. Great vibe.
Food
I had chicken wings, wedges and skin on fries. Food was good and served pretty fast for a Sunday lunchtime. Will try something different next time, burger looked good.
Overall
Marlborough needed a casual cafe that served more than just sandwiches and cakes. Would love to see some fried chicken wings and maybe hot dogs or ribs on the menu. That would top it off. Nice atmosphere and homely food served with a big smile.
Had dinner with friends on Saturday. Food was yummy and the staff really friendly. My chargrilled chicken was nice and moist and the burgers looked amazing. Good selection of veggie burgers too. A refreshing option on the Marlborough food scene.
My friend and I went for an early dinner here last night and it was absolutely superb. Super friendly staff on arrival who served us promptly. A very chilled and busy atmosphere which was great to see on a Wednesday evening too. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous! Excellent value for money for really high quality food - this place is a wonderful hidden gem. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning very soon!
Stopped here for an impromptu lunch today and I am so glad that I did! Firstly, the staff and service were great: friendly but not in your face. The location is also great - the corner of a quiet yard off the High Street.
But the standout here is the food. I ordered the Smoky burger (beef burger with bacon and cheese, salad and lemon mayonnaise) and fries. They were excellent fries too!
However, the joy was the burger. The bun was lovely (not the slimy tasteless sesame shingle so many places serve, nor the super-trendy brioche, but a fluffy fresh proper bun), and the mayo fresh and zingy (as a committed mayo-phobe this was important!). But the meat ... perfect! Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, the flavours perfectly balanced. I had a chat with the chef who informed me that the meat comes from a local butcher - and it shows! The flavour and texture were fantastic.

We had a parents get-together here only a few days after the restaurant opened. The service was really friendly and the food was great. I had the Smokin’ burger and I was eyeing up the chicken wings which looked genuinely ‘finger-lickin good’. This is a new restaurant and I am so pleased that the local family are making a go of it! So nice to have an individual restaurant with a bit of character, and not just another soulless chain!
I've been meaning to visit for sometime but every time I'm in Marlborough its been a Monday when Mark, Emma and their staff have a deserved day off. So today I stopped in on the way back from London for lunch. Absolutely cracking meal, well presented, really tasty and I couldn't have manged another thing. Will definitely be back, with family in tow!
Lovely fresh, local food and amazingly quick service. Nice vegan and veggy options. The kids menu is great, not just stuff with chips (although that is one option). Our son said his chicken burger was the best chicken he'd ever eaten and our daughter demolished the veggy chilli.
Great afternoon in Marlborough shopping, came across this lovely new little family burger restaurant, wow what can I say....... The best burger I've had for ages!! I had the smoking.... Full of flavour with bacon and apple wood cheese, fries and a side salad. All washed down with a San migual. I will definitely be coming back and spreading the word of this secret little place......

Please look at licensing rules as would have been a 5 star review if the Eggs Benedict could have come with your Prosecco - a nice touch especially at Christnas!
Very good food with clean tables and friendly staff.
It's a simple menu, but everything's made to a high quality with a lot of care and preparation going into simple things such as side salads.
