Ordered the fish finger sandwiches plus a portion of chunky chips. The sandwiches were substantial with large fish fingers. Thought I had a good appetite but only just managed to finish the meal. Accompanied by a pit if tea plus additional pot of hot water. All good. Matched by excellent service. Would definitely go again.

Having read some of the reviews I think these people must have been very unlucky. My wife and I had lunch in this establishment today, the service was friendly, quick and very efficient. The food, baked potato and a chicken Caesar salad were well presented, very tasty and a good size for lunch.

Saturday brunch visit for 2.5 people. Nice tables in and outside, outside orders must approach till to order, food then brought out to you, simple. Good quality, locally sourced ingredients where possible, components of full English were all delicious, eggiest egg in the county I'm sure. Many, many cakes and sweet treats available. Accessibility ok, several lumps and bumps to be expected from an old building. Baby changing surprisingly available, and can be reached by both male and female side of the toilets! Ingenious. Parking is always a downside in town, just keep looping, or park behind the main high street, follow signage. Marked to 4 instead of 5 stars down to value, it is rather pricey, but worth it as a treat once in a while!

A warm, welcoming dainty tearoom that offers a wide variety of cakes and amuse bouche. I had the most wonderful waitress who was friendly attentive and even directed me to a few local spots to check out after my dining with them. Would 100% go again next time I’m in town.

What a lovely place to visit. A large pot if tea for two! Large plates of high quality food. Service very professional and high quality. Only problem was that we didn't have enough room to sample any of the cakes!

little hesitant yesterday on going to Pollys Tea rooms for lunch especially after reading some poor reviews the night before. However we kept to our arrangements and met family there. I must say the food and service was great with warm friendly service from the team of servers. We will go again.

We love the Polly Tea Rooms but today was unfortunately not a great visit. The food was great as per normal but the service was lacking. We had to ask the person serving us several times when we wanted something as it wasn't brought to us on the first request. The service has definitely dropped since our previous visits and it's a pity because it really is a great restaurant.
