This is by far the best Indian restaurant in our area. The food is delicious with a great choice from many areas. Also, if you have an idea or request for a dish the chefs will try to accommodate that. The staff are lovely and service is pleasantly paced. This is our treat - if we came too often I would have to start wearing stretchy trousers ;-)
We had a lovely meal here last night, great service and amazing food! Lovely touch to see the manager/owner overseeing everything and chatting to the customers. Would highly recommend.
Best Indian food around, the staff are great, and the owner visible which is nice, be prepared to wait for your food if they are busy, but it is well worth the wait, you won't be disappointed, we have been at least six times and the palm never dissapoints
Amazing meal for my Dads 70th. Staff were very attentive and made his celebrations amazing. Very good with children & family friendly. Food was superb. Highly recommend.

We moved into thatcham a year ago never knew this restaurant existed. All we have here is takeout we was recommended here. We was not disappointed we will be back. What I liked is all Indian restaurants have stopped the sizzling plate for chicken tikka but this restaurant had it. Fantastic lovely meal we will see you 31/7 for another meal
We stumbled upon the place while in the area for a drop off. We only tasted the vegetarian options. Ample parking, good ambience. The starters were quick and tasty. The food was fantastic. The management team seemed to be working well as a team and getting the orders out in time. They did apologise for a slight delay in our mains. The place was fully packed showing lots of regulars. Good food, fantastic service and pleasant people. Will visit again.
Everything great about the restaurant. Can’t believe Oxfordshire has such high quality Indian restaurant ticked away in countryside. Awesome ambience. We were served by fantastic host Eileen. She also made special cocktails for us. Very courteous and welcoming atmosphere. Great food. We will definitely go again and again and highly recommend it.
One of the best Indian restaurant I have visited so far in the UK. The food quality and taste is 10/10. It’s a very unique restaurant and not the typical Indian restaurant. It’s pretty big too and very busy . The service was good too . I would definitely recommend the restaurant for its food and ambiance. The menu you have a lot of dishes including Persian food which I really enjoyed . They do serve alcohol including champagne.
It is pricey compare to other local Indian restaurants but for the quality and taste I’m sure you wouldn’t be disappointed.
The Palm make some incredible food, will definitely be going back there sometime. Very polite staff, top-notch food, and beautiful building. The only downside to our visit was when our waiter put his hand out and asked us for a tip at the end, but there will always be people like that. I would recommend, 9/10.
My mother and I have dinner here frequently. Most often our server is Aileen. She is very friendly, helpful, and she creates delicious mocktails for us using a variety of fresh fruit. The restaurant has very nice vegetarian options that are delicious. Everytime I have eaten there, the food and service was consistently wonderful. And the environment is elegant and relaxing.
My experience was a mixed bag at this place. I recently visited this restuarant over the weekend, and overall, it was a delightful culinary journey. The flavorsome dishes served here left a lasting impression on my taste buds. However, I must admit that our food took well over an hour to be served at our table, and this did mar the otherwise enjoyable experience.
I arrived early and was offered a selection of mocktails to chose from
whilst I was waiting. I chose the strawberry daiquiri which was lovely. The service was excellent they were very patient whilst we made our selection offering some great suggestions. The food was very tasty. We will definitely be returning soon and I look forward to trying out the watermelon mocktail.
Best curry I've ever had. I had the Seafood Moilee - very flavoursome. Peshwari naan perfect. Lovely palatial building - looking forward to going back.
Really recommend the Palm, not your average curry house with a number of dishes very much outside of those seen in your typical restaurant. The service was prompt, food superb I had the house special Goan curry and very reasonably priced, 5 stars.
Superb. Right up there with the finest Indian restaurants in the world - delicious meat, full of flavour, spices, amazing smoky aubergine. What an absolute treat! Thank you.

It is a little more expensive than some Indian restaurants, but I prefer to pay a little more and get this high quality.
Also with the large portions, you actually get good value
Very nice restaurant for ho like indian food. They do also great service. Just remind to chose fow spicy you want your food, can be very spicy.

Surprising little place .. .. it feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere but the food is delicious and the service excellent .. and the atmosphere and decor makes it feel a lit bit special .. worth the trip !
