First visit to this absolute treasure of a place - could not fault the fast, efficient, slick operation, all done with a smile - food and drink pretty special too - I had chicken, avocado and leaves sandwich on the most beautiful, fresh granary bread, washed down with cafe fresco - we will definitely be making a return visit (or 2, or 3...)

First time I've eaten in for a long time. Had the vegetarian tart with salad... Best veggie tart I've ever eaten. The filling was like velvet and the pastry perfect. I've often been known to eat the filling and leave the pastry so it must have been good

Have been eating cake and drinking coffee at the food gallery since it's early days when it was in a smaller location. Fast forward many years, we now live over seas and still make time to call in for a turkey, bacon, cranberry and stuffing sarnie when we are back in the UK.

Had a really great breakfast here. The place is well kept and has a lovely atmosphere for families, hillwalkers, and more. Their own roasted coffee is very good for the price and the £1 refills are a nice touch. For breakfast I had the eggs royale. Whilst I think the muffin could have been toasted for longer and the eggs were a little over done for my liking it was a solid meal on the whole. Would recommend 🙂

This is one of my favourite place for breakfast. Nice service, dishes always perfectly cooked and presented. I love the menu but I highly recommend Eggs Royal! I've been there many times and Eggs Royal are always a winning bet. I'm not a good coffee drinker but my wife loves their coffee. I love the fresh orange juice.

Visited 25/03/23, midday. Just before the busy lunch period. We ordered full English & eggs benedict on sourdough. Both nicely presented and tasty. Good menu, jacket potatoes, panini, sandwiches too, and cakes. Nice ambiance, friendly staff. Only suggestion is offering a larger option on the coffee size, they only do a small one which is very nice but would like a larger option. Recommended, would come again.

As weary travellers, we made the mistake of rocking up here just before closing time - I say mistake because I wish we'd arrived a lot earlier because it seems a wonderful place, we were made very welcome, even as they were trying to clean the place before they put up the shutters! We only had time for a cuppa and a cake, but that was most excellent, a damn good pot of tea and scrumptious cakes, I envy the locals for having a place like this in town, I'd be in there every day!! We will be going back, OK, it's a fair distance from where we live, but Marlborough itself has much to offer, so it is worthy of a visit, which we will be doing!!

If I'm in Marlborough I go here. The coffee is Fab 👌. Better than all the other high street outlets. There is a great menu, I go for the Salmon, scrambled egg on sour dough, it's divine. Richard and his team run a bustling, atmospheric place for those who know.

Quaint little cafe. There was no cream cheese to go with my smoked salmon sandwich . The baked potato was advertised as having a side salad accompaniment but I think my definition of a salad was a little more than a few green leaves. Nevertheless it all tasted good. Hint: look at the establishment rating on "Scores on the doors"

Very efficient and pleasant little lunch keeping out of the rain on Saturday. Goats cheese and fig sandwich was delicious. The Florentine was a bit too chewy but I'm splitting hairs with that one.

I think these guys are the happiest people in the world 😅 Visited The Food Gallery today having been drenched on the rugby pitch and the staff were all so chirpy and friendly it cheered us right up, even more than the hot chocolate! I don't think I've ever seen such a substantial menu and our breakfast was fantastic 😋 So thank you very much, highly recommended and will definitely return when back in Marlborough!

Fantastic place. I visited for the first time today as I am gluten free and was starting to run out of places to eat. I had been told that this place was great for those sort of things and they were not wrong. From the moment I walked in I was made welcome and I ordered the mango frappe which was delightful and the gluten free brownie was one of the best brownies I have ever had. Will definitely return.

A huge thank you to the team at The Food Gallery. They very kindly made coffee's and a tea for us as we were stranded for some time in Malborough. I had no money at the time to pay for the drinks, very generously they said the drinks were 'on the house' Can't thank you enough for the gesture that meant a great deal to us all. Will definitely see you again and as a paying customer : ) Lou x

Great popular little sandwich shop. They taste phenomenal and is worth a stop if in Marlborough. I particularly like their prawn and lemon mayonnaise option.

Came in last week for lunch and was so impressed we went back again today!! It was a very busy lunchtime but staff were friendly, polite and helpful and service was quick. The menu has a good selection of food and drinks and is reasonably priced. My husband and I each ordered a panini and coffee. The food came with salad and crisps, good portion size and was well made and very tasty and the £1 coffee refills were good value. We took a slice of tiffin home for later to share and wished we’d bought two slices!! Will definitely be going back and will certainly recommend to friends.
