Excellent coffee just off the High Street. I didn't have food but it smelt delicious.

The Mercers owner really tries to be inclusive for people with allergies. She had gluten-free options and dairy free options, too. She was also happy for my daughter to eat her own food as she has egg and oat allergy to go with the gluten and dairy. My daughter had a dairy Free milkshake, with plenty of options on the dairy free milk. (Made also with dairy free ice-cream) I had an almond milk latte and a gluten and dairy free brownie. It's nice to be able to go out for a coffee and not feel like a hindrance. A massive thank you.

We’ve not been to Marlborough for some time and usually go to polleys tea rooms. Went in sat Down and was completely underwhelmed with the menu, felt very cramped and the cakes which used to be so nice looked very average so left without having anything. Then just happend upon Mercer’s in a little alley just near the car park. Extremely welcoming, good food, great value and everything home made. We will certainly return next time we visit from Fairford.

Very efficient and happy staff. The cafè latte was spot on - rich, creamy and smooth, served lovely and hot, and likewise the skinny cappuccino also hit the spot. The cafè is also dog-friendly. We sat outside in the April sunshine...

We stopped for lunch at Mercer’s. The lady was working alone to a reasonably full restaurant. We had efficient service, the Buddha bowl salad was the best we have ever had, and very reasonably priced. Even the fries were wonderful. Would definitely visit again.

Really great cakes & coffee. Shame we filled up on them first so didn't have room for lunch. Great service too.

Such a wonderful little place. The food was amazing, but nothing beats the drinks. Holy cow, my Orange Hot Chocolate was possibly the best thing I've ever had to drink. Vegan and vegetarian options. The cook came to double check things about my table's food and the table next to us (just to make sure about allergies, substitutions, and get everything right). Such care! They were understaffed, but it didn't feel like it, which, to me, just goes to show how amazing they are (to keep doing a superb job even when your short a few hands). It was clean, well decorated, and a fun environment. I highly recommend going. We had a blast.
