Fantastic coffee and sandwiches. My friend and I come here regularly for lunch and have never been disappointed.
They lady that works here is always friendly and welcoming.

The Mercers owner really tries to be inclusive for people with allergies. She had gluten-free options and dairy free options, too. We’ve not been to Marlborough for some time and usually go to polleys tea rooms. Went in sat Down and was completely underwhelmed with the menu, felt very cramped and the cakes which used to be so nice looked very average so left without having anything.

Very efficient and happy staff. The cafè latte was spot on - rich, creamy and smooth, served lovely and hot, and likewise the skinny cappuccino also hit the spot. The cafè is also dog-friendly. We sat outside in the April sunshine...

We stopped for lunch at Mercer’s. The lady was working alone to a reasonably full restaurant. We had efficient service, the Buddha bowl salad was the best we have ever had, and very reasonably priced. Even the fries were wonderful.
