I would just like to say a massive thank you for a wonderful Birthday meal at markyate spice the hospitality blew me away, not only did they make me a fabulous cake with my name on it, when I arrived was welcomed with a lovely helium balloon and given a complimentary bottle of presecco. My parents are regulars and I can now see why. The food was amazing and all my family had the best time. 5* treatment from start to finish! Once again thank you to you all. Sinead xx
The menu was different but in a good way , the food was very good indeed especially the monk fish dish I had was top drawer
As always had an excellent meal, the food is delicious and really good value for your money. The staff are so friendy and the service is great, they are quick and attentive without being over the top. Absolutely love going there.

Excellent food, friendly staff. Extremely well priced for such high standards. Atmosphere is very relaxed and sophisticated with lovely background music but not overpowering. Great visit again - and no doubt will be back again!

No parking available only street parking available which is limited... the food was good and well prepared. The place is small so I would highly recommend making a booking here. I could see that they had a regular number of people eating there a few large groups so considering the size of the place it seemed busy. I ate on a Tuesday night and the restaurant provide a banquet set menu should you wish it. This means you get a starter and then a main consisting of a vegetable dish + rice or naan bread or chapatti + your main meat dish for £11.95 each. For 2 people a bottled water and a glass of prosecco our final bill ar to just under £40

My favourite delivery
Very quiet on the thurs night we went with just us and one other table occupied. Food was quick and large range to choose from inc regional dishes as well as standard dishes. We went for chef specials. Only thing wish could be improved is descriptions so you know if e.g small side salad inc on main dish or type of ingredients inc. E.g when a dish had "cheese" we were thinking a nice paneer but wasn't this. Generally happy and would go back. Apparently this chef is a joint winner with a dozen or so others of a national curry competition of over a thousand entrants according to a banner and quick google search to see details. Service good but as mentioned also quiet.
First time visit for family members birthday, friendly and professional staff, manager very bubbly and easy going. Catered for all guests. Good interior and lighting inside. Minus one star for limited parking in the area. Would recommend

Very nice. Nice and spacious with also some cosy tables, friendly acommodating staff, and good food. Their Sunday buffet is good, and if there's not a veg or lentil dish there, they're happy to make one specially for you.
Love this place! Have never eaten in but have had deliveries. The food is always hot and the staff are extremely polite. We moved to the area 3 years ago and have since been looking for a decent Indian after many bad experiences. We're pleased to say we have found our perfect Indian restaurant!

Amazing atmosphere, helpful and attentive staff. The wife usually doesn't enjoy this type of food, it's more my desire but this time she really enjoyed the food. Would definitely stop by again. Hidden gem.
