The best Sunday dinner we have had in a long time. Good portion of meat accompanied by a perfect home made Yorkshire pudding, mash, roasties and a good selection of veg. Great stuffing ball too. We'll be back
Dropped in here, landlord and landlady lovely and helpful. we stayed in a T5 for one night. nothing to pay just buy something in the the pub. There is electric if you want for a small fee. Toilets open all night and elsan point available. fantastic, will definitely be back.
Lovely family owned pub in the beautiful village of Markington good food a d good vibes. Campsite has excellent facilities and is located close to the historic Fountains Abbey, Studley Royal deer Park and gardens, Birmingham rocks and the nearby towns of Harrogate, Ripon and Knaresborough.
Excellent meal and excellent staff, highly recommended.
We visited this charming ancient pub 5 times whilst we stayed in the village of Markington. The food on every visit was superb,the gammon steak and Timothy Taylor pie is the best we have ever tasted. We found it reasonable,cosy and received a warm welcome from Vicky and her team .
