Today Harper's catered for my daughters 5th birthday party. Not only were the staff incredibly helpful and friendly but the fish and chips were a total winner with the children. They LOVED it...and the parents enjoyed the chip butties! I am literally never making sandwiches for a children's party ever again...Harper's every time. Thank you. xxx
Came away for my birthday stayed on still rabbit lodges in spalding moor , we had a ride into market weighton on Saturday and called in too harpers for some fish & chips they where beautiful , me and my husband got small fish & chips and a carton of curry each. The small fish was massive well worth the money and where very nice the lady serving was very friendly , when we go back next year we will certainly be calling in again for some fish & chips x 🐟 🐟

Deep blue fish and chips is a nice traditional British fish and chip shop. The food was freshly cooked to order when we visited. We had to try the patties, a speciality not often seen outside of Hull. They were more expensive than any of the chip shops in Hull, but they were much deeper. We were very impressed by the large size. The batter was perfect, and they had just the right amount of Sage. The potato was a bit firmer and less fluffy than a traditional Hull Patty. All in all, it was very nice. They also do some interesting lunchtime boxes and special offers for pensioners. It's a nice fish and chip shop.
We two go once a week have never been disappointed fish cooked while you wait excellent service and a really good Seniors Offer. Ordering on the App available.
A lovely fish and chip shop, very friendly with a great menu. Generous portion sizes photo is of my regular fish and chips which were great.
Easy ordering system. Ready on time. Really nice fish and chips and cooked beautifully. Only downside was the bones I found in my fish which I’ve never had with takeaway fish and chips before. Put me off a little.
Chips were good, fish was dry and very salty. All food is cooked to order so expect to wait if you haven't ordered.
Only 2 folk working and I don't know if that's the norm but there was no chat, just order, pay, food, go.

Very friendly small fish and chip shop. Beautiful fish. I had a very nice conversation with the lady serving me on my way to Scarborough. Great food, well worth a try! We had two haddock and chips and a battered sausage and chips.
Good fish and chips, albeit prices seem to have increased quite a bit.
I'd recommend ordering via the online app or during peak times there will be a really long wait.

Did have a 5star review on Deep blue but tonight I have decided to change it to only 4 star.
Most every Friday we place an order for between 2 and 6 people. In the past few months we have have been missing the odd portion of chips, or curry sauce nothing bad enough that made us want to drive the 6 miles to get what was missing. The inconvenience of having to get what's missing and the fact that we are having a family meal that is then a member down normally stops us. But tonight tried to place order for 5 but the website is down so we go to Deep blue to place order and wait. It wasn't particularly busy when we entered we place the order which was read back to us, and waited. Duly they started out order but we're waiting for some scampi, no probs it arrive we were given our order and we left, I asked my partner as we got into the car if we should check the order but afraid it would make it cold we decided not to. On arrival home get out the meal and we are missing a portion of chips and a battered sausage. 😡 I decide to drive back this time to get them as portions seemed smaller and we could not share it all out.
Hence it's time to down grade my review
