The food was excellent, really good steak, kidney and smoked oyster pudding; and the chips were grade A.
We had the scallops to start which where perfect and so fresh.
The mussels for the main with fries where just to die for. Service was perfect and the landlord was so knowable about the menu the young lady was lovely too and checked back on use. All washed down with the best smoothest sauvonour wine I can say iv ever had. Perfect atmosphere just right for 2 ladies to put the world to right.

Delicious food had the crab cake and was presented beautifully my husband had the pie and it was so tasty with lovely fresh vegetables 😋cannot wait to try other foods on the menu
Having eaten all over the world in many wonderful restaurants - I can wholeheartedly say that this is nothing short of perfection. The ambiance and service are first class and as for the food, this knocks spots of many a Michelin starred restaurant, the quality and skill in which dishes are created and presented must be experienced to be appreciated. This is an absolute gem. Thank you.
Went with family the Saturday before mother's Day, to celebrate. I had the sea bass, with chips and vegetables. This was the best I have had for a long time. 2 large pieces of sea bass with mussels and prawns, served with an array of green beans, samphire and broccoli, cooked to perfection. Very very good.
We visited this small restaurant on a very chilly Saturday night and were impressed with by the unusual choice of food available. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Service was good but not outstanding, with quite acceptable amount of time between ordering and food delivery (just). Pricing was relatively expensive but food was good. Good choice of wine, even low alcohol ones (not to my taste though!)
First time in the Bay Horse after living within walking distance for 5 months. 4 of us Sunday lunchtime, 2 roast beef and 2 beef pies. The food was excellent, nicely cooked, hot and plentiful. The only problem we had was choosing from the extensive menu.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They were always nearby if you wanted anything without rushing you or hovering. Good selection of drinks from the bar.
Our first time here but certainly not our last.
Real good, first time I had the burger which was excellent but on my second visit had roast duck that was incredible! Also had scallops on both visits as they were awesome!
Sunday dinner. Can't go wrong with a roast. Service was a little slow, but not annoyingly so, and when the food did arrive it was fantastic, great roast dinners all round. We will be back.
Lovely food, great variety and very well presented. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
