Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff (and doggie) and brilliant food. I had the Steak & Ale pie and it is up there in my top 10 of all time meals! Not to mention the cheesecake afterwards.....💯💯💯

Stopped here for dinner on holiday as they are dog friendly, it is a beautiful friendly pub with amazing food and amazing service. Would definitely recommend a stop here for some good locally sourced food.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch on 5th June to celebrate mum-in-law's 88th birthday. The food, environment and service were excellent. Only two small dampeners: this pub had no Sherry (!), her favourite tipple; the wheelchair ramp was very short and steep. Stock up with Harvey's Bristol Cream ... an

Excellent meal. Can not fault it in anyway. Good sized portions, very well presented and very tasty. Atmosphere was cozy, warm and relaxed. Staff welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended. Toilets clean but need a little TLC.

The chef cooks amazing food, I had fish pie and every mouthful was a treat. It's not somewhere I could afford to eat at every week, but I am saving my next visit for a special occasion.

If you want food, this is the home of food. Walked in on the off chance of a table... if you don't mind I'll ask the chef...yes that's okay. Table for two in front of the bar. Mind the dog it's a slow moving house guest. At least it won't eat you. You're not as tasty as leg of postman. Specials. Go

Our family went as a Birthday party, the food and the staff were excellent to say the least, we will be going again , highly recommended. 😋👍
