We chose Aldwinckles for our small wedding reception. I saw photos of the courtyard online and the venue is so “instagrammable” that I had to have our party there. Moragh was incredible. She is super responsive and made sure everything was well planned out and organised. Nothing was too much bother! There was extra attention to detail decorations which we really appreciated.
We had private hire of the coffee house with afternoon tea and a variety of drinks. It was very reasonably priced.
Our guests commented how lovely the afternoon tea was. The sandwiches were well received and cakes homemade. The drinks flowed and were quickly topped up.
Everything was perfect and I recommend Aldwinckles as a intimate wedding and party venue.
Aldwinckles Coffee House is a little gem in Market Harborough that you do not want to miss! It is nestled in a little covered courtyard, with an indoor space too. The little courtyard is my favourite spot: during the winter it is truly magical, and in summer you feel transported. The iced coffee is perfect, and the vegan and gluten free options for the cakes are truly wonderful, the hardest part is which one to choose!! Loveliest and most welcoming staff, a place to return to again and again.
A lovely little find.
We popped in here for lunch and really enjoyed our visit. It's very small but quaint and cosy. Delicious food and a good selection. The coffee was great too.
Lovely coffee house with friendly staff.
Tucked away down a side road, lovely location away from the hustle and bustle.
Would recommend the toasted fruit loaf for a light snack, and you can't go wrong with a pot of tea (with optional sugar lumps).
We had simple beans on toast and it was so tasty. The atmosphere inside was cosy and friendly.
So glad we found this hidden gem, the Jacket potato was delicious.
My only criticism is you had run out of Jacket potatoes and it was only 12.30, so any later that would of been it.
Would be nice to know if this is a one off or not as it would be ashame.
Lovely little coffee shop, excellent for lunch and savoury/sweet baked goods. Hot, cold and alcoholic beverages available
My favourite cafe in Market Harborough and even though I've tried a couple of others, I always come back here. Good food, lovely service and really like sitting in the courtyard.
Lovely welcoming staff, great coffee and the sourdough, balsamic, walnut and goats cheese toast is lush! 💯👌
First visit to Aldwinkles today and will certainly be back. We only had the breakfast ciabatta roll but was tasty and fresh with good quality bacon and sausage and nice touch of a small glass jar of sauce. Nicest coffee we’ve had in a while and was piping hot! Lovely, friendly, fast service and attentive staff, clean and tidy and a lovely welcome (compared to another newly opened coffee shop in Harborough where the staff ignored us and miserable!) a credit to the owners!
We have eaten here on multiple times and the food is always great. The salad is always fresh which quite often is neglected in cafe's, the staff are friendly and helpful, always ready for a chat and the time waiting is so short. I would recomend Aldwinckles to anyone, whether new to Market Harborough or if they have lived here for a while. A true hidden gem.
The best coffee shop in market Harborough, I have come here many times and consistently have great service and even better food + coffee! Have introduced many more happy customers :)
Charming little coffee house. With a great selection of drinks and cakes :) Looks like they do other food too as there was a board that had soup of the day and nachos on it.
A small amount of seating outside and some inside on the ground floor. There were some stairs heading up that I assume went to more seating but we didn't check it out so not sure.
Would go again.
What a charming little place, very friendly staff, I had the Christmas turkey and stuffing warm sourdough roll with cranberry sauce , it came with mini pigs in blankets served with crisps, absolutely delicious 😋 lovely cup of proper tea. Would highly recommend.
Awesome cafe, and friendly service. A lovely find on our brief visit from Australia.
Spent a very chilled time here this morning, enjoying delicious cake and coffee- Well worth a visit guys, lots of choice, good quality , in very pretty surroundings- Will definitely be returning- oh! and staff! Sooo helpful and friendly 😀👍
We were meeting friends as a mid-way point in Market Harborough. What a find! We had mulled wine and coffees which were lovely- just what we needed after a long drive. A fab start to the Festive season. Many Thanks
