Absolutely lovely little cafe. Food is very high quality, everything tastes brilliant and fresh.
Food is fairly priced but drinks can be a bit on the expensive side. Staff are quick to ask if you need anything and all very polite.
Vegetarian cafe
Variety of toasts to choose from
Of course there is also an all day breakfast option
Recommend to try Topped Toast
The taste is very good!
The taste of pumpkin is very special, it matches the sweetness of onion and cheese
It will make you feel unexpected!
The coffee is also of a standard
All day breakfast ingredients are also homemade
Bread and pork tenderloin are different from those eaten outside
And the cheesecake tastes mediocre
It may be because I like cakes with a moister texture and a heavier texture.
convenient location
Vacation is worth it to relax!
Service here was fantastic! I visited last week to do some work and grab lunch, staff were super helpful and friendly, service was quick and the food was great, I'd definitely recommend this unassuming cafe/ bar for a spot of lunch or a coffee

Amazing food! That I need to give a second chance to service.
The Settling rooms is centrally located and amongst a selection of supermarkets. There is outdoor and indoor seating in this lovely house with tonnes of character.
The menu is really varied, catering for all tastes! And the food hits all the right spots. Service was friendly, but perhaps we were on an off day? Food arrived a little slow and uncertainty of which tea was which or whether the food was the vegetarian option.
Still, I'll be coming back for the forager toast!
Perfectly presented spot for cracking cocktails. A place to sit and chill, chat to friends and enjoy drinks and nibbles. It’s all table service, very friendly and professional. The highlight though is the perfectly mixed cocktails, whoever is managing the bar really knows their stuff. Well worth a visit.
Up there with the best in town! Really great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Enjoyed a brunch and coffee and we will be back on a regular basis 🙂😺🙂😺🙂.
Dog friendly too!
You won't find a more aesthetic and welcoming café! The Settling Rooms is set in a beautiful historical building that has been converted into the most incredible coffee shop (be ready to find yourself taking one too many pictures of the setting, it's gorgeous!) The coffee is perfect, and the English breakfast (veggie option) and the various savoury toasts are truly incredible. The best part of this place? The staff! Just the most welcoming and friendly individuals that make you want to come in for a chat, and stay for one too many coffees.
Also, useful to know that they're super laptop friendly, and with a space like this, your creative ideas will flow! A must visit.
Had my baby shower at the settling rooms and was blown away! All our family and friends said how lovely it was! The venue is beautiful, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, the food was very tasty and catered to dietary requirements, which was very much appreciated. Thank you so much!
Superb spot for coffee or a light lunch in Market Harborough. Really nice ambience and décor inside. The service is friendly and efficient. I also appreciate that they *really* know their coffee. A hidden treasure in Harborough. Also, being in the middle of the car park, accessibility is not a problem.
When a diner, like The Settling Rooms, becomes popular it needs well managed, quality staff. The service I received was faultless. The care, humbleness, professionalism and detail provided by the staff made my experience really enjoyable.
Walk inside, the period building exudes character, dialled to 11 with cool lighting, an abundance of potted flowers and a coffee machine with its mechanical innards on display.
The brunch menu was a breath of fresh air. A contemporary take on breakfast and lunch. The corn fritters and ciabatta bacon butty were dishes of beauty. The former, one of the best looking and tasting dishes I had for a while.
There are loads of seats inside and out. If, like today, the weather is pleasant, you get lovely views of Sainsbury’s car park to enjoy while you consume:)
