We are so happy that we stumbled upon this little jewel in Market Harborough whilst visiting the area. They were able to cater for my never ending list of intolerance's and fodmap diet restrictions with a beautiful jacket potato complete with non-dairy butter and a salad free from any onion. It was light and fluffy and simply delicious. My girls were thrilled with their giant slabs of cake and home made chocolate milkshakes that they made especially for them. I have a feeling they are going to be super popular in the coming months! A beautiful vintage tea room and one we can't wait to come back to in the future. I'm looking forward to a piece of gluten & diary free cake on my next visit. Thank you for your hospitality xx

The best spot in all of Market Harborough to sit and have a cuppa! (and a slice of cake or 3!) Always perfect for brunch or lunch and everything is served with a smile! :)

My friend & I stumbled across your tea room last weekend and will definitely be back. We loved the vintage look and feel about the place, the staff were so lovely and welcoming and the homemade quiche was wonderful. Hoping I have room next time to try your yummy looking cakes! Thanks

Oh, where do I even begin with the delightful experience at Sweet Pea's Tea Room in the heart of Kelmarsh Hall? It's like stepping into a haven of culinary delight and warm hospitality! From the moment I stepped in, I was embraced by the picturesque surroundings that blend seamlessly with the historic charm of Kelmarsh Hall. It's not just a meal, it's an experience, a moment to soak in the beauty that surrounds you. Now, let's talk about the food, shall we? It's nothing short of exceptional! Today, I indulged in a toasted cheese and onion sandwich on malted bread, and let me tell you, it was cracking! The perfect blend of flavors accompanied by a side of fresh coleslaw, salad, and crisps. Every bite was a celebration of taste and texture. But no meal is complete without a sweet note, right? Among the tempting array of fresh cakes and treats, I chose the carrot cake. And oh my, it was super-duper delicious, a sweet ending to a delightful meal. The staff here deserve a special mention too. Their attentiveness and warm smiles added to the wonderful atmosphere, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. And kudos to the immaculate setting, with pristine tables and cutlery that reflect the high standards of this place. In short, Sweet Pea's Tea Room is not just a place to eat, but a place to enjoy, relax, and create beautiful memories. I can't recommend it enough! What an amazing place to be. Can't wait to visit again!

Lovely options, lunch available too. I went for the fruit scone served with clotted cream and jam and a pot of loose leaf earl grey. The outdoor seating is particularly pleasing. Rebecca was especially kind and dressed the part with a 50s attire!

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Sweet Pea’s. A great selection of food and drinks on the menu, and lots of fresh cakes to choose from too. I had the quiche and salad which was delicious, and an iced vanilla latte which was perfect in the warm weather. Lovely friendly service too, thank you

What an incredible place!!!. A superb selection of super duper tasty treats from the tea room. The scone, cream and jam is the best I have ever had. The food is sensational and very well priced. I was made so welcome by the friendly team, I now try and work from the Sweet Pea tea room on a regular basis. Highly recommended!

This has been a regular stop for us travelling back from Birmingham. Tried a number of different items - always good. Staff are really nice. Though we normally sit outside, we have once sat inside. This is a nice environment. Give it a try!

There are three distinct eating areas. One inside, with tables well spaced and two outside. One in front of Kelmarsh Hall and one tucked around the back with lots of tables shaded by tall hedges or un the sunshine. The gluten free bread is frozen so only available as toasties but they looked very tasty. I can vouch for the GF cake choice today, Carrot Cake. It was moist and spicy. Just as I like it 👌

This place is amazing! They have wonderful services, delicious food and tasty coffee. I had the best smoothie I've ever tried in my life here! I can't even describe how much I liked the setting of this little place, it's theme and beautiful colours. 👍

Traditional style tea rooms with appealing ambience & tasty food. Staff were friendly and welcoming in this Covid secure environment. Loved the uniforms, pretty Kidston/ Ashley style dresses which match the decor. They cater well for children, providing appropriate cutlery. Toilet facilities (only if needed & why else would you go) are clean & adequate.

Lovely tea room, tranquil setting, very inviting, the signage on entry and exit could be clearer, the cakes were divine, the cappuccino was absolutely scoulding though and I'm still nursing a burnt mouth

Absolutely gorgeous place, staff and cake! The staff were so friendly when we walked in. The place is very cute and quaint - very vintage looking. We had two slices of cake (which we halved between us) and they were just amazing! So lovely and not sickly. The tea was a tea for two and it was such a lovely loose leaf tea. Such a hidden gem!! Will definitely be back ❤️
