Ascough's Bistro - Market Harborough - Photo album

We got a last-minute booking and it wasn’t disappointing. It was the most gorgeous tasty, beautiful meal … thank you Chef and staff Rosemarie Jarvis Hanworth Hats Market Harborough
Having just moved to the area this place has been constantly recommended and we were not disappointed. It's the best by far. We could have been dining on a cruise. It's not our usual type of dining but I was amazed how delicious and plentiful all the food is. We are both vegetarian but loads to choo
Went for lunch time meal and what a meal it was. Absolutely delicious!! Had to be sneaky and check the Internet to see what some of the items on the menu were. I'm not that cultured hahahaha. We had 2 course meal with some extras, so expect 40 a head. Totally worth it.
The overall experience was positive. However, although we booked a table 2 weeks in advance over the phone, when we arrived they couldn't find the reservation and we were made to wait about 10mins until a table got set for us. The staff tried their best, but it felt there were long gaps of waiting b
Stunning food served in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is a bit of a hidden gem within Market Harborough, well known within the town for offering very high quality food at great value. There were five of us eating from the Christmas menu and not one dish was anything less than perfect. Over
Great place, staff very friendly, exceptional food and great value for money. Second time here, will be back again.
Amazing meal and very good value for money. The service was prompt and friendly with good menu suggestions made the staff ensuring that drinks were always available and more than worth the service charge. The quality of the food was superb with all 3 courses being an excellent, my steak was cooked
Just had the three course lunch (with wine and a few extras) as a wedding anniversary treat. Excellent service, food, atmosphere and decor. The food presentation was first class and proportions generous. We are noted, among our family and friends for being 'big eaters' but we couldn't have managed a
Lovely place. Quality food. Quality service. Lovely atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
This place is excellent, really value for money and the food is of a much higher standard than their prices suggest. We had 2 courses, petit fours, 2 coffees and two drinks for £50. The starter was 3 scallops with taramasalata made with the roe and a brie croquette. It's delicious but perhaps a po
The food here was amazing and the majority of the wait staff were amazing too. Not 5 stars as we were very rushed so that they could have the table back for another sitting. We didn't get a chance to breathe between courses. There was an issue with one of the courses (hair) and it could have been de
Always love the food at this place outstanding service and food 😋 very reasonable priced for what you get . Only thing because of the words description of food can somewhat be going in blind to what it is . Pictures would be useful but everything on the menu will be delicious.
Just wow. Arrives and we're promptly greeted and seated. The staff were very efficient and knew the food they were serving. The food tasted amazing and was very well presented. The atmosphere was relaxing and the small touches just brought the place together like a Christmas cracker was incorporate
This was a great dining experience. The food was delicious, the hosts were very attentive and polite, and the overall surroundings were nice. Starting off with some artisan bread was a nice touch. I noticed they had a great selection of local ales on the menu, even though I chose the wine, of which
