I was fortunate to be taken here for lunch on Mothering Sunday - such a treat. I can honestly say I don't think you could get better tasting food in a Michelin starred restaurant. The meat is by far and away the tastiest I have ever had anywhere and the vegetables are delicious too. Lovely staff and surroundings just make it even more special. Will be going back... again and again. Thank you to everyone in the kitchen and cafe for a special lunch.❤

My husband and I came for lunch on Sunday and we were blown away. The Sunday lunch is the best we have ever had...it was lush! We also bought some sausage, bacon and pork pie from the shop...they were also really lovely. We will be back!

Thank you so much for a wonderful Christmassy afternoon in the snow today. Our lunch was amazing as always and the staff were incredible on such a busy day, especially as we found out the dishwasher had broken too! The boys absolutely loved seeing Father Christmas (& Mrs Christmas!) and have proudly displayed their certificates. Thanks for everything guys, we really love Fordhall Farm xxx

I spend a wonderful morning at the farm, beautiful breakfast after the long drive from London, then Arther trek around the farm and met the friendliest animals happily grazing and roaming free as nature intended. Came across the wonderful Yurts along the way. Then to the shop to stock up on wholesome organic meat and veg to keep me going until my next visit. Forgot to mention very friendly, helpful staff. Days like this are rare and wonderful.

Absolutely fantastic! Myself and my four children have been to three of the Easter activities, pond dipping, Easter egg hunt and the Gruffalo trail! Their own words were, thank you mum it's been fantastic. Nice size groups. Amazing staff who are fun, involved in all activities, friendly and approachable. As a mum of four it can often be difficult to juggle each child's needs but I felt comfortable in knowing they were there to help! Lovely tea room with superb food. Will be making the most of this farm being so close to home over the summer holidays! Mike, Wendy and Helen thank you from us for three fun mornings!

Feels like a home away from home. Always made to feel welcome, and leave feeling refreshed. The community outreach at Fordhall is admirable and most activities hosted by Fordhall are free! They genuinely go over and above to include the community in their farm. The cafe food and coffee is top class and organic.

We enjoyed the farm trail and then stopped at the cafe for a cold drink and lovely cakes. Love the story of this place, and I hope it continues to be well supported. The sausages from the farm shop were the best I've tasted in a long time

Omg I love this place. Our lil one is only young and he still loves it. The open space is just amazing and the cafe and butcher's on site is just lovely, I would visit everyday if I could. Today we have returned again due to loving it so much, Today we did Ben's walk and I was brave and took the pram, we have an out and about one and it was amazing the only small problem I came across was the small style just at the end of the walk, but it was no problem as it was easy to lift the pram across. It's such a beautiful walk, we also were so happy to see the little piglets. We will be returning again soon.

Brilliant community owned farm with excellent eco values. All animals looked after in as natural a way as possible. Great range of activities for groups as well as accomodation for them to stay over. Sadly didn't get to try the farm shop as went in the evening. Staff really knowledgeable and friendly.

Love this farm shop. Highlights are definitely the amazing milk they sell. The mutton and goat are really good quality and their own faggotts. Usually get a fabulous take away coffee while I'm there too.

What a find !!!!! Popped in here for a mid-journey brew. So glad we did. This place is a little agricultural oasis that's now so much more than just an organic farm. They were in fact England's first community owned farm. They are now a true community integrated facility. They provide education, volunteering opportunities as well as running a youth project and a care farm. For visiting families there are 3 farm trails, a farm shop and our primary reason for stopping Arthur's Kitchen, the café. We visited the shop and couldn't resist the range of farm fresh sausages on offer. We also treated ourselves to one of the frozen large pies. (Since had this lamb & mint and it was packed with meat and was delicious) All in all a thoroughly worthwhile place to visit. Ideally a family would spend quite a time here and explore the trails. They even have a number of ways you can holiday here or hold an event. Probably one of the most enterprising businesses I've seen in a long time. Good luck to Ben and Charlotte Hollins for the continued success of this wonderful business.

Once again thank you ALL SO MUCH  for our fantastic, wonderful stay.  There were some  amazing views, across the the fields of Fordhall Organic Farm.  The activities with Mike kept our young people busy and inspired them to be outdoors and learn more.  It was so worthwhile to see the young people engaged and enjoying themselves especially has they were  SEND kids that have never been away from mom & dad ( cares ) Regards from           All Stars Youth Club  (Dudley, West Midlands.)

Went to the Farm today and had a lovely meal at Arthur's Kitchen. We then went to the Farm Shop wow what a lot of Choice well worth a visit. Also take a walk around the farm and see the animals and pop into the woodwork room and see the youth program they have to help children who are excluded or struggling in main schools. The work you do is priceless.

Lovely free day out to appreciate nature and sustainable farming. Great for all ages and dogs (although they have to be kept on a lead). It would be good to have an area to let the dogs off, but overall, a great day out for any age on any budget.

I’ve just completed a 70 mile round trip to pick up an amazing looking pork loin but the journey was worth it just for the sausage roll i nabbed in the farm shop. Hands down THE BEST sausage roll I’ve ever had. The flavour was superb and the pastry was just incredible.. just wish I’d bought a few more. I’ll be back for sure..

My son and his wife recently held their nuptials at Fordhall. It was truly a magical day. Charlotte and her team couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. The food was excellent, the venue was set up to the couples wishes and the children loved the play areas and open space. Thank you all so much for your hard work.

We arrived just two minutes before end of lunch service and everyone could not be more accommodating. Cosy surrounding great food. Piping hot mugs of tea and lovely staff. My first time but my mother has been many times to eat and to do the farm trail and has never been disappointed. A lovely place that allows you to slow the mental clock down a little. Loved it.
