A lovely place for a meal when you’re travelling through on a canal boat. Only snag, dogs can’t go inside, but no problem, lots of outdoor seating and water bowls for the doggies in a beautiful setting. Oh and the food was delicious.
Dark skies to see the stars, friendly staff, and very nice food. I have had the burger here a few times, and the homemade steak and kidney pie and both were amazing 👏🏻. I have camped on both the main campsite and the rally field, both pleasant experiences. Would recommend 👌🏻

I have been visiting here for some 40 years - never had a poor meal. Meals are good, value for money, in my opinion. Excellent, well kept variety of beers & ciders. Friendly staff. By the canalside with tables inside & out.
