The price was reasonable, well cooked, not soggy and chips well cooked and from the taste it seeme like quality oil. We will return, but not soon as waist lines need watching. Reputation deffinately did not disappoint. Date of post 2023/08/02 from north Peterborough (not a fake review)
Most of the time I was on my own apart from the lovely Polish waitress. Great meal but total bill with coffee and icecream £25.
Service, atmosphere, all spot on, the nicest chips eaten in a long time; but with a solid dry crust and filling thickened, the pie had clearly been sat in the cabinet over time. Will give them a second visit if passing .
I heard that Linfords served up good fish and chips so I travelled to try them.
Fish though tasty the batter was oily. The chips soggy, very disappointed.

Lovely fresh fish cooked to perfection with a crunchy and not greasy batter. Not overly expensive and friendly service.

Had a great Haddock and Chips tea tonight with my wife and young granddaughter. More importantly the waitress was very attentive and showed an intuitive and caring attitude towards us with a young child she is an asset to your team
