This place has become a foodie delight with stalls selling top notch food. The pizza, Greek and Indian are all great but we ate at newcomer Tic's Bus Cafe yesterday an Asian menu including delicious noodle soup, a penang curry and a succulent chicken Satay burger where all excellent value and there is bus seating up stairs which gives an American Diner vibe. Afterwards we had sweet treats from Gina's Bakery and the awesome Ice Cream shop. Fun little shops well worth a browse and it was all set up for Halloween with a spider room to make you squeal and howling animatronic zombies. Well worth a visit

Love the vibe, super cosy, great food and definitely a place to go if you're just passing by. Not very big though, make sure you don't miss the first floor!

Eccentric and fascinating foodie court in Old Market indoors. Maybe had to high expectations or need to revisit to get better food experience but building itself makes still huge impression and rating is mainly for that

Full of a broad range of pop-up stalls and food fronts with exciting cuisines! Each with their own distinctive take, there's half a bus inside as well and upstairs a whole bunch of small independent artisanal shops.

Really quirky place with lots of miniature shop fronts with bars, cafes, restaurants (takeaway) a bakery and cute shops. Love the small scale of everything. There's places to sit on benches to enjoy your food and drink. Good for taking some unique photos.

The Old Kent Market is a hidden gem that offers a delightful shopping experience. Gina's is a charming bakery located within the Old Kent Market, and it quickly became a favorite spot of mine. The aroma of freshly baked goods wafts through the air, enticing visitors with a mouthwatering selection of treats. The variety of buns and pastries at Gina's is simply remarkable. From fluffy cinnamon rolls to delectable fruit-filled pastries, there's something to satisfy every craving. The quality of the baked goods is exceptional, with each bun boasting a perfect balance of flavor, texture, and sweetness. It's evident that Gina's takes great pride in using high-quality ingredients and expert craftsmanship to create their delectable offerings. This market hall is on the site of the old Parade Cinema and has been restored to incorporate the building's history and heritage. It houses an eclectic mix of stalls selling food and crafts, with pop-up stalls throughout the year. The Little Prince is believed to be the smallest pub in the UK, transformed from a disused sushi bar into a space for only six people at a time. An open-top bus restaurant adds to the mix. Seating is available inside the building and on the front pavement. Definitely worth a visit.
