We went to this place last year and was amazing. Came again today as we had such a lovely meal last time. Sat down and ordered, the waiters serving were lovely young lads really polite. As an honest review the food took a long time but we are good with that for the quality of the food but after a while we had to ask. Something went wrong somewhere and after an hour we were told another half an hour with apology or the option to leave. Things happen and we decided to hang on (after a few peronis). Atmosphere was lovely and the service was great so we were happy to wait they offered a discount for our time we said we’d be happy with another drink and to their credit they discounted 50% of our bill which we really did not expect. We thought that was amazing customer service and are so grateful. Food amazing as always.
Food was great and service was impeccable the only problem was the outside manager seemed overrun and was way over the top with the staff that obviously knew what they were doing more than he did
Young lad just cleared a table and he flew in saying I need you out here in a sharp tone the lad had been in less than a minute and was visibly upset by this. Way to lose good staff just chill out and let things run get a lot more from your staff that way.
Overall good would recommend food and great location
First impressions make this place look half bar, half greasy spoon. But boy is the food good. Don't let the plastic menus fool you. The tapas portions are both delicious and generous. Service is friendly. Prices are fair.
Great place in the middle of Margate's old town within the piazza area. Great atmosphere, ghe sun was shining and it was the start of the queen's Jubilee everything was great. Staff were fine and the food was lovely Prices were reasonable . Will definitely try this restaurant again 😋.
Great food, wasn't expecting it to come on a piece of slate. Would go again. Only down side is they do keep coming up and asking if everything is fine, great customer service but maybe tone it down a little

Absolutely gorgeous food, best king prawns ive ever had, gorgeous setting (outdoor seating in the sun), staff so friendly, Cheryl was an absolute delight, thoroughly enjoyed the European alfresco experience

Love the amazing pizzas. Lots of fresh sea food options. Very cozy atmosphere. Friendly people. Decent prices. Wheelchair accessible to main floor, toilets in basement not accessible by wheelchair. Last time we went they were doing some renovations in the basement.
Loved it. People were great and welcoming. Food was great and bursti g of flavour. Got the seafood pizza and calamari.
Decided to update my first review with yet more great feedback. Came here for breakfast for the first time although we eat here regularly through out the summer. The breakfast was outstanding and by far the best we’ve had in Margate. The sausage was of great quality, beautiful sour dough toast, real butter, exceptional customer service. This will now be a firm fave for local breakfast!
Tasty tapas. Really good customer service as well. Food was served very fast. We had the Monday tapas deal for 2. Bill was all together 25 pounds. Definitely recommend it to anyone. Really good value. One con that I could say is that little bit extra garlic in foods. I like garlic so that was fine with me. But some may dislike it
Even tho we had a small problem with our pizza order, the lady who is the assistant manager was very helpful! She did her best to make sure that we are happy. Special thanks to her. And pizza was really good, authentic Italian pizza. Service was fast. I definitely recommend The Med Pizza.
Such a great experience eating at this restaurant, not only is the food amazing but the location really tops of the experience. Large outside seating area that’s great for enjoying a glass of wine. We went for the pizza and a few tapas dishes and all were delicious. The pizzas are freshly made to order and are full of flavour. The tapas dishes are great in size and tasty, the best dish we tried was the calamari. Will definitely be back again to try the other dishes.
Had a lovely lunch here today. Excellent pizza and lovely coffee. The highlight was ALL the staff, from I presume the lady owner (who was very helpful) to the servers. All very pleasant and attentive. Makes such a difference to your dining experience. Will definitely return on our next trip to Margate!
