Slab Brasserie Margate - Margate - Photo album

Staff was efficient and helpful. Food was presented well and very tasty. Would recommend a 2 course set, plenty of food for the price. Place was a little empty when we got there, but we were happy to find a place for 6 since we didn't have reservations. The place filled up quickly after we sat down.
Amazing food and fantastic service! We were very well looked after at this restaurant - servers were all so lovely to us and made us feel very comfortable. Food was delicious, very filling and came quickly. We came on a Friday lunch time, were seated immediately, sat outside at a socially distanced
Lovely and friendly team members. I really enjoyed the “Pork and Chorizo Burger” and the portions are big. Good value for the money. I would just recommend improve a little on the drinks. The blood orange spritz could have been better. I would eat here again anytime I visit Margate.
Nice little restaurant on the seafront at Margate. We tried it mainly for the lobster and it didn't disappoint. The steak unfortunately was overcooked, but still edible. The other food was OK and my son found the chicken burger a bit dry.
gnocchi buonissimi! the lobster was perfectly cooked and the crab mac and cheese was a touch. the chorizo burger my friend had was reported to me as being great too. the decor was cute and staff were friendly and super hospitable :) thanks a lot we had a great time!
Lovely food, staff are so friendly - very accommodating and really enjoyed our time here. Lobster was 👌
Delicious food. Friendly staff. Weather was warm and outdoor seating act as a sun trap.
Small but friendly venue. I had fresh cooked avocado and poached egg, just what I wanted for a light lunch. Coffee had to be fetch from next door by hardworking waitress! Good coffee. Nice to be right on the seafront. Getting busy as we ate.
Visited today and we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality and presentation of the food. Our starter of oriental beef salad, was very tasty, lots of flavours. For our main course we had sea bass fillet which was cooked perfectly and gnocchi with med veg which was lovely. Would definitely re
Had an amazing dinner with the family at the Slab Margate. Pricing is great considering where it's located (Touristic Seaside Town)
Very impressed. Nice vibe, with classic Motown music and friendly service. Very clean. I had the salmon special which was excellent. The fish was beautifully cooked, thick and succulent, served with a sauce and heritage vegetables. My wife had the chicken burger with homemade coleslaw and plenty of
Really Amazing burgers! Probably on of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Great location, right next to the beach and all the nightlife. If you love proper burgers check this place out.
My husband Boole a table here as was highly recommended. The customer care was friendly and certainly looked after us. I had a whole lobster which was beautiful, so tasty and very fleshy. My husband bought me a second one (greedy girl) The drinks were recommended by the lovely manager Cheryl baby Gu
We had the set 3 course menu, which was very reasonably priced at under £30. I am not exaggerating when I say that the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend the trip to Margate for this. Lobster tail - yum. Hake - yum. Lamb - yum. Pork belly - yum. Lemon tart - yum. Pineapple mouse - yum. 1
The food was great. We had the lobster bisque followed by Lamb with pearl barley which was very tasty, well balanced with a lovely sauce and chocolate praline ice cream to finish. Delicious and good value.
Amazing service. We visited for our anniversary meal and thoroughly enjoyed the meal! Having opted for the lobster, we would 100% recommend for a special treat, as it was beautifully cooked, and very well presented! Looking forward to returning to sample some more of the menu as it all looked amazin
